Reign it in, Cuntalicious— this story was from 2011-2012. Were you ever born then? Lmao.
And just because Jeffries isn’t currently being challenged for his district, doesn’t mean he isn’t a Titanic piece of shit. It also doesn’t mean that you aren’t a Titanic piece of shit for trying to stick up for him. Really, what is he done that you are willing to defend? Fuck you.
I bet you don’t even live in this district, ya poser.
And to think, I helped get this guy elected to the Senate for his first term. I campaigned for this asshole. I canvassed. I had a lanyard. I had a clipboard. I knocked on doors. I convinced others to vote for him.
I met him and shook his hand. and this motherfucker lied right to my goddamn face.
I feel fucking dirty, and I feel disgusting for spreading that filth to others
Edit: the Hakeem Jeffries wasn’t in front of the Javiz Center at the BLM protest… But I was and I can bring that fight to the next election… And the next. Didn’t bet on that did you, Hakeem? Well, fuck you. And fuck that horse of entitlement you rode in on.
You know what else survived the NYPD crackdown at the Javits center? This watch (cracks courtesy of the NYPD):
One of my favorite scenes in Spider-Man No Way home was the three Spider-Mans (the correct pluralization because ‘Spider-Man’ is a title, not an object) talking about how Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man’s web-goo shoots out of him, while Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland are totally grossed out by that while trying to be like, “oh, no man… that’s totally cool we’re just ‘interested’” trying to be supportive in a heartfelt way.
And how Andrew Garfield was kind of interested in a creepy way, and Tom Holland was more depressed because he has to hustle himself out to a rich techno daddy to afford to keep making his.
Edit: I was really thinking about this, because Tom Holland’s aunt May was probably in a rent stabilized apartment, I bet they were on SNAP, and I was wondering if his SNAP benefits would pay for his webgoo materials. That kid had serious financial issues.
(Edit 2: And, no, I’m not hating on people who are on public benefits. A gigantic amount of people in NYC are. I certainly was almost the entire 25 years I lived there. Public benefits IN NYC are amazing! You can hardly afford to live there if you don’t receive them. Rental assistance, food assistance, free healthcare! Public assistance benefits in NYC are AWESOME!)
but, still… NYC can be a very weird and very rough place… still, there’s nowhere on earth I’d rather live
Move back home to Brooklyn where the cost of living is significantly lower than it is where I currently live, bank the rest of it and start looking for work.
Hmmm… possibly. My 2016 MacBook Pro was a real piece of shit. the only Apple product I ever owned that was just made badly. I mean— I had it for 10 years, but that fucker was broken 15 ways from Sunday. Keyboard, trackpad, battery, all non-functional within a year or two. The rest worked fine for a decade tho, until one day - poof! It just died. (technically, last October.)
I replaced it with a 16” MacBook Pro M4 Pro. I’m very happy with that.
"two-way street" implies an equal exchange, not just equal opportunity to speak, and only someone who's never been on the receiving end of one would ever make the mistake of thinking there's anything equal about it.
in fact, the only ones I've ever heard make that argument are bigots themselves, trying to excuse or defend their bigotry while shifting blame to their victims for "not standing up for themselves" or some other victim-blaming bullshit.
DARVO (an acronym for "Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender") is a reaction that perpetrators of wrongdoing, such as abusers, narcissists, or sexual offenders, may display in response to being held accountable for their behavior.[1] Research indicates that it is a common manipulation strategy of psychological abusers.
I'm clearly not the only one here who feels this way, and I'm sure that none of us are surprised that, right from the start, you're deflecting any responsibility for what you've created.
You can debate your point with out dehumanizing others, when you can't, you've already lost the argument.
No. You can’t. And giving a “open mic“ to the Nick Fuenteses and Stephen Millers, and Charlie Kirks of the world who will put on a suit and a tie and try to “debate” you while dehumanizing others with nice sounding words gives them a platform to spread their hate while framing it as a “civilized debate“ rather than the coded bigotry that it is, while you cast aside any responsibility for letting them do it, tossing your hands up and claiming “free speech”.
It’s plainly and obviously bullshit. It’s like inviting a vampire into the house and then being surprised when everyone turns up dead.
Multimillionaire? Are you really that bad at math?
It’s not like she came from money. Do you know what she was before she became a politician? She was a bartender at a Mexican restaurant about a block away from Union Square. I happen to know this personally, because that’s where I met her in 2015: in between classes at university, I walked into that bar, and she got me fucked up on margaritas.
Unless you’re suggesting that I left her millions of dollars in tips that day…
