  • Thanks, Ive heard Bergman interviews on another channels, I didnt realize he had his own. I will check it out

  • Yeah, thats the type I'm looking for. There a lot of channels that cover regular companies but I couldnt find any that focus on coops

  • Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

What are your favourite youtube channels that focus on economics/business topics from a non-capitalistic approach?

  • If you haven't moved already, I recommend Firefox or one of its forks.

I rly like firefox, I have been using for the last two years.

  • Another detailed and insightful report from Laurens Hof!

  • Your post should have more upvotes! Thanks for testing and sharing the information. I'm going to try it, I don't have a reddit account anymore, so I would fail on step one (don't have a sus account) but I think the general idea is replaceable for getting people to join fedi from any other site

  • I dont know where this started but I know there are variants of the same word in different countries, they say Ferenj in Ethiopia and Farang in Thailand

Edit: I looked it up and found a wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farang

Apparently its started as a Persian version of the work Franks that spread during the crusades.

  • I've been having my inner monologue in English for since I was a teenager but I think deep down my mother tongue language is the language of my subconscious

  • I dont fully understand either, thats why I wanted to join an instance to see the difference. So far it looks like Mastadon but you can filter your feed based on "most boosted", "most liked", "most commented", instead of only a chronological feed only. it also has a feature called "circles" which I think is the equivalent of a facebook group but I haven't tried it yet.

  • Thank you for sharing the links! I just signed to one of them.

I am also surprised how much money they were able to raise. I hope they deliver on the things they promised

  • Lack of communicating with OP would be nice but its nice to just mirror their page if they are content creators

  • Thanks, I didn't know Peertube had a built in tool for mirroring a channel. I will look into that.

I just found out about lemmit.online from the other answers and I agree with you on having be a different instance is good practice.

  • Thank you for sharing the links and for pointing out this has potential copyright issues. I think its still good to have these tools though.

What tools do you use to find content on the fediverse?

  • Fediverse @lemmy.world

Should large Fediverse instances and Bluesky encourage, not require, users to opt-in to bridges that connect the Fediverse to Bluesky and other non-fedi social web platforms?
