the legit facists and nazis don't exist in public accessible spaces. if you follow any legit reporting you know they recruit in like discord, but the have their own tech spaces out of the public eye. sadly they are often far smarter and far more tech savvy than the leftists that claim to oppose them, at least the dummies here who claim that.
ProPublica and other sources tell these stories, but they're written at a grade-level that the labeling lemmites can't understand, because it's legit reporting instead of sensationalism.
You might also notice that basically no legit hard hitting news sources ever get posted here... but all the shitty rage bait leading headlines do... because any these fools probably thing FrontLine and ProPublica are Zionist or something, despite them having some of the best reporting on the issues they claim to care about.
It is cool at least to see there are smart and reasonable folks here, and sometimes there are super cool threads full of them where the dummies don't even show up because the reading level of the comments is too sophisticated for them.

determined folks with negative agendas also have a lot more resources and energy to put into harassment and spamming, than any ordinary person does. they are also often well-financed and emotionally driven.
problematic communities like that are never going to label themselves as problematic.
they also don't see themselves that way. They think they are bastions of truth and free speech and open-mindedness, it's just that everyone else is wrong and close minded.

i'm not sure how you fix that 'problem'. you can't force folks to interact with those who are different than them without them becoming resentful and angry that differences exist, and inevitable demonizing people for those differences.
