  • I still see posts all over the internet every day about the files. I think it's also that there hasn't been any new files or revelations since the Iran war started except for that dump yesterday. It's not that there's less interest, it's that those that are intensely interested are either still going through them or waiting for the next big thing like when (former) prince Andrew was arrested. I'm sure as soon as the next big thing comes up it'll jump right back up. And I'm sure in that same week the war will escalate. It's just a big tug o' war on our attention spans.

  • My guess is that the IP got flagged. In my personal experience, around 70% of VPN servers in California don't let me post on Lemmy for some reason so I just avoid that area entirely at this point. Unfortunately, shitty people use VPNs to do shitty things too.

  • Believe it or not, crack heads need cars too. You can't go fucking anywhere in this country without a car.

  • Lol no he gave me $900 and we went our seperate ways. Pretty standard, honestly.

  • I sold my old car to a crackhead. He had way more chill than any kind of AI surveillance.

  • Bro we just wanna own the things we bought and paid for. You're not making a good argument here, Microslop.

  • It's okay I still love you. <3

  • Am I missing something or just dumb? I did the math and 10! came out to 6 weeks exactly...

  • I think she's just a crazy person that fully drank the Cool Ade for years and 100% believed everything MAGA and Trump said. She has no critical thinking skills but got burned by Trump and that's the only reason she's seeing things differently. The classic "I didn't know this would happen until it affected me" situation. Still absolutely crazy with zero critical thinking skills, though. She's not my friend, but I'm extremely glad she's the enemy of Trump now.

  • Voting is the civil option. I'd much rather do the civil option, but I'm just sayin'...

  • Been awhile since I checked out this website and only now just found out there is a new one right next to the office I work at.

  • Well, at least one. That we know of.

  • As someone that has met a lot of people that do cocaine, yeah that's not surprising. Maybe not the seat specifically, but pretty much all of them do coke off of toilets. It's a convenient height, it has a similar color so it's easier to clean up, you get the privacy of the stall door, and nobody is gonna bother you while you are there.

  • The only people that want to move on from the Epstein files are those that are in the Epstein files. Literally everyone else is ready to see consequences.

  • My hope is that someone with a sense of vengeance gets fucked over by this and starts taking revenge on everyone else involved. I'd absolutely love to see these pieces of shit eat themselves alive. With how evil these people are there is no way in hell they don't have dirt on each other.

  • I'm mixed on this. While I love more money for Blender, I don't like it when big companies invest a lot of money into open-source projects. They tend to treat the investment the same way stockholders treat corporations. At the same time Blender has become such a huge part of VFX in general that it'd be stupid not to invest in Blender. I've been using Blender for 10+ years and these days it's just as robust, in some cases moreso, as most commercially available software.

My point is this could be a very good thing for Blender or a bad thing for the average user. We'll just have to wait and see and hope for the best.

  • "We're tired of getting our feelings hurt at protests. Can you send is somewhere we won't get caught when we kill people?"

That's all I hear. Nobody forced them to work for ICE and they can quit any time they want to.

  • 49% of Americans didn't vote for this. 49% of those that voted in 2024 technically voted for this whether they were aware or not. Only about 62% of the population voted in 2024 so including those that voted third party, realistically only about 20% - 30% voted for this. And that doesn't include those that voted based on things like affordability without realizing the choice they were actually making. Add those that regret their vote and you have a very small percentage of people that actually voted for this specific outcome. Sure you can look at polls but those only account for people that were interested in participating in polls, which MAGA loves to be vocal about their opinion.

In my opinion, they are trying to make us feel isolated and alone when in fact we are literally surrounded by people that are on your side. They'll say "you voted for this" in the same way an abuser says "you did this to yourself."

    Edit: Spelling
