  • Do they all start in the same area? Or are they spread out across the globe?

  • Woah there! NSFW warning please!

  • For me, my interest is piqued by something I see or experience, and I wonder how it works. So, I start researching by just searching the Internet and seeing what people are saying about it. I tend to stick with amateurish sites, or the raw science behind it. Advanced builds or complicated analysis can wait until I've gotten my hands dirty. Usually at this point I decide if this is something I could actually do, and if so, I start shipping! I pick out the best of the cheapest according to my expert sources, and get working.

After a few weeks I'll get bored and never touch it again. But, that might just be the ADHD talking.

I did homebrewing for the longest because it takes so damn long. I never really got any good at lock picking, but I might be able to get your desk drawer open.

  • God damn. That was a good one. Well done

  • MacGuyver is a fantastic hero and role model.

There probably are some problematic 80s norms that might not fly today, but at it's core, he puts himself in danger and improvises solutions from what he has available, and some duct tape, to help people in trouble. He refuses to use a gun and avoids violence when possible.

We could use some more MacGuyvers nowadays.

  • Then my work here is complete.

  • Who else loves AI as much as I do?!?! ❤️❤️🦾🤖🧠❤️

  • I could use the same advice right now.

I may have mentioned that our department would run more smoothly if the manager came to work more than twice a week. She didn't really like that idea, and now she's giving me the cold shoulder.

Yesterday I asked if one of our groups had used the pool. I saw it was originally part of their contract, but I didn't see any pool time on their schedule. I was expecting a simple yes they did, or no they didn't. Instead I got:

"because use of the pool was included in the contracted package and was ultimately not used, we need to ensure the overall value of the agreement remains equitable."

    Thanks ChatGPT. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  • Do you notice that the green ones are MUCH worse than red and yellow peppers?

Also, what are your thoughts on seltzer water?

I can taste bitterness that others don't. I'm always looking for other people with the same "gift".

  • It's Meatwad.

And he may technically be a child.

  • I recommend Swappa

I second this. Every phone I've bought in the past 3-4 years has come from Swappa.

Coming from someone who worked at a cell phone store for nearly 10 years: Buying your phone from the network provider is probably the dumbest way to do it.

  • That's how they make it impossible to buy anything that isn't Apple.

  • iPhones are great for teenagers and the elderly.

But, if you actually know how to use your phone, Android is the way to go.

  • The most heirloom thing I own is a special publication from our local newspaper from 1933(? I'm not sure if the exact year, but it's definitely the thirties) that used to belong to my great grandmother.

It's a newspaper sized book that's maybe 50 pages and it celebrates the 150th anniversary of my hometown.

I don't think it's worth any significant money, but I think it's fascinating to flip through the stories and read the old ads.

  • When the water tastes like cancer spreading nitrates, that's a usually a bad sign.

  • My county always votes red by a landslide, but I keep showing up.

  • Absolutely. And if someone asked why I choose not to eat poop, I would tell them because it's highly unsanitary and carries diseases. Besides, the flavor is not enjoyable and it provides little to no nutritional value, so there really is no reason to eat it.

    Your turn.

  • When offered a new food, you can take it or not.

Since you seem to identify as one who would CHOOSE not to eat it, explaining why you MAKE THAT CHOICE is probably more what they were looking for, as opposed to cryptic sarcasm that leaves us with more questions than answers.

  • Hey now. Those were for his wife since he has to spend so much time on the road. Can't blame a man for being a considerate husband!
