  • I like to think I'm generally pragmatic, but we all have our weaknesses.

I think the value in being pragmatic is being able to pick apart the nuance of a situation. Especially ones that you are personally involved in.

It's not easy to realize how you contributed to your own negative situation, and I have the greatest respect for people who can admit that they were wrong.

  • A few years ago, this would have been my answer just because we spent so many hours on GoldenEye and Mario 64, but I've since realized that aside from a few gems, most of the games on that system were garbage.

  • Recognizing certain music definitely does it to me too. Especially if I have strong memories around that song.

Other times I'll get it from music I don't recognize if it has strong multi layered harmonies.

  • There are guns that shoot Orbeez. They sound like that. They are water based, but I don't think they leave you wet.

  • Are they sassy? That drawing looks sassy!

  • This is a tricky one. I've already posted a comment that may seem VERY contradictory to this one, but in this case, I think the kids should actually be reading.

The point of the readathon (aside from fundraising) is to get kids to practice reading, not to consume as much media as possible. Kids are already really good at that.

It would be like the band teacher allowing kids to listen to someone playing the trumpet instead of practicing themselves.

  • I think you might be listening wrong.

  • In my opinion, reading War and Peace isn't worth shit.

Classical literature is just old fiction. The only reason it carries sophistication is because when the books were written, poor people couldn't read. Saying you had read ANYTHING was the equivalent of showing off your new Louis Vuitton bag.

If you read it and you enjoyed it, that's fantastic. That's exactly why it was written. Looking down at someone who didn't read it because it's not something they enjoy is bullshit.

  • I'm officially Sweet Potato.

  • Everybody is different, so there are no "all women do this" rules, but from what I've heard, some of them are even worse than your friends about it.

Also, come to think of it, I don't think I've talked about women like that to my friends since high school. Seems immature and icky.

  • It has to REALLY grab my interest in order for me to watch it, and I'm probably going to back out if I see that it's longer than a minute or two.

  • I've had nothing but Pixels since the first one launched.

  • When I was about 15, my grandma told me "If you don't want her to be a mommy, always remember to wrap your salami."

That was about it, and yes, it was as strange as it sounds.

  • What the fuck?

  • Literally never. Never on purpose, at least.

  • Most of mine were made to keep track of all of Grim Reapers alt accounts.

I haven't seen any in a while, so I think I've lost the trail.

  • No worries there. That's pretty much the only thing I don't forget to do!
