  • Doing anything is always better than doing nothing. Not only on resumes, but I've gotten better opportunities at the top because of people I worked with at the bottom.

    He would have been one and done. He only won by about 1% more votes. About a third of registered voters didn't vote.

  • The system works but only when people participate. When it feels like it isn't working, it's because there aren't enough people working it. All the uninterested and hopeless carry enough weight to tip the scales, and until they start getting involved, they are all sitting on the side of letting the people who fucked it up keep on fucking it up more.
