  • US government is indebted to the Cartels .... the Cartels make it possible for the CIA, NSA, FBI and every other three letter agency to do whatever they want throughout Latin America .... and if they aren't doing anything in Latin America, the Cartels are a great way for the US government to generate money through money laundering and the drug trade to get the money they need to finance whatever clandestine shit they're doing this year

  • Torvalds could assemble a system by collecting old outdated electronic junk from a trash heap and make it work

Tech Bro needs to convince million dollar investors (or his wealthy parents) to finance his latest setup in order to install the latest Windows or Mac OS ... without money to buy new shiny things and proprietary software, he's totally lost

  • America trying to reduce their housing costs by changing the drapes and buying a smaller coffee table .... while no one wants to talk about the over stuffed walk in closet full of expensive junk and the four car garage filled with six vehicles.

Trying to save a bit of money because they want to renovate the pool that no one ever uses.

  • The biggest reason that was never mentioned is ..

They need a vehicle that can accommodate and carry a 300lb human.

I have a friend who is over weight, his wife is over weight and their four teenage children are all overweight.

One of their previous vehicles was a small car and it looked like a clown show to see four of them stuff themselves into an average sized car and watch the suspension dip.

I couldn't believe they got a newer F150 that they paid about $50,000 for ..... a used vehicle! It's a great truck and they got it just to fit four of them comfortably. They parked next to my 2010 F150 and theirs looks like a transport.

And when they step into the truck, they look normal and you no longer notice how big they are because their truck is huge.

  • I ask my wife to check on me once in a while when I'm in the garage.

Most accidents in the garage happen really quietly. It's like when people drown .... deadly things can happen without a sound ever made or not much sound.

I've heard of guys getting stuck under their vehicles because they ignored basic caution and thought they could get away with a risky situation.

I know two mechanics that dropped their vehicle from a hoist, and one of them were killed.

So many things in a garage that can casually kill or maim you

    • Air tools or air compressors
    • drills drill presses
    • saws for wood or metal
    • grinding wheels
    • lathe
    • welding equipment
    • presses or jacking equipment moving heavy weights or generating lots of force
    • chemicals and not knowing how dangerous they can be
    • carbon dioxide or other substances displacing oxygen

.... and that's just in a garage ... the dangers increase when you start wood working construction or renovations in, on, under or near a house

Social Media in 2026: .... it's all AI now

  • YAHAR!!!!! HOIST THE MAIN SAILS!!!!

  • Oh wow ... an instant pot recipe! ... I was really hoping there was an option for this. I should have known but didn't know where to start.

Will definitely be trying this. Thanks!

  • Darmok and Jalad!!!!

(starts raining on stage and electrocutes the two of them)

    Shaka when the walls fell

  • Money bags here with their butter .... as a kid, salt and pepper was a luxury for us back then.

I remember growing up and wanting toast with butter as a snack. But we seldom had butter so we opted for plain white lard instead on the toast.

I preferred the rice with salt and pepper.

  • My favorite lately has been bacon tomato sandwiches.

  • As a kid, I used to gobble up plain white rice with nothing but salt and pepper. I still love it that way but have to regulate myself.

  • Always love Indian food but always afraid to make it.

    What's your recipe?

  • Beautiful .... we usually use the carcass to make chicken soup.

For two people, one chicken can turn into four meals.

I had just recently learned about seating everything on root vegetables, makes an excellent base for stock and gravy.

  • Always loved falafels .... do you have a recipe to make them? Or do you just get them ready made?

I tried making them before but all I got was disintegrated mush in my oil. :(

  • Burgers and fries

I make my own burgers ... buy about 2kg of lean ground beef when it's on sale .... mix them by hand with salt, spice, Worcester sauce .. measure out about 2oz to 3oz portions, press them in a burger press that is a bit large .... it makes a really thin burger patty. I like the thin patty because it only takes about five to seven minutes to cook. If I feel like having more, I just cook more patties.

I only cook a few at a time, then freeze the rest. Always nice to have a ready made supply of homemade patties.

I also cut my own fries, cover them in a bit of oil, then air fry them. Toss them with a bit of salt at the end.

I used to work as a fast food cook at our family's own burger joint when I was a teen. Homemade burgers and fries just seem like second nature to me at this point.

  • Software alone would probably have to be replaced.

Who in their right mind in the US government would trust another country, any country, to install and run their own software on their leaders aircraft .... especially an aircraft that would be used in an emergency event.

  • Same here ... we watched the episode last year and I like looking up the actors and any trivia in an episode we watch. We both knew the voice ... then when I looked up the actor, it was amazing to find out it was Piglet! We couldn't watch the rest of the episode without saying something about it.
