  • Co-workers are like family

    You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family

    I'd rather spend as much time away from my co-workers so that in the long run, I can appreciate the times I have to be around them at work because I have to .... not because I want to.

    I do the same with my family (as much as I love them) ... if I spend too much time with them, eventually, I'll find reasons to not want to be around them and our relationship suffers ... the less time I spend with them, the more I appreciate them and the more they appreciate me.

  • Instead of coming up with cheap gimmicks for your workers in order to save yourself and the company money while playing PR games with your workforce .... just pay them all a bonus, give them time off and let them all decide what they want to do with their time and money.

    Their game is to play back and forth rage baiting that leads to nowhere and nothing ... so the only way to shut them down is to never speak to them or answer them or acknowledge them. The silence and non-response just kills them.

  • What bible are you referencing here? New Gideon? King James? Dead Sea Scrolls? and do these bibles include any apocryphal texts? .... also are you talking about the Jewish Talmud? the Koran? ... is this Coptic? Roman Catholic? Episcopalian? Baptist? Morman? .... or is it just another one of those picture bibles for children?

    I'd rather be driving by at a steady clip at 67 King James bibles an hour then at a hedonistic 54 New Gideon bibles an hour

  • I don't really care about images on here all that much ... I don't mind them being lost if I lose my instance.

    Most of the images that are shared are basically 'one off' images for a quick gag or as part of a conversation specific to that moment. And often that conversation or interact is a 'one off' event as well. Which means it was all meaningful when it happened and when it was read the few times it was noticed over two or three years but then it is forgotten.

    If there is anything meaningful I come across that I think is important to me or something I want to keep a reference of or keep ... I'll save it or screenshot it and put it away in my own storage or data.

    Otherwise, I really don't mind losing all those other images I had created over the years ... they already did their work when people saw them at that moment.

    The only reason anyone would want to keep all that data is to archive it for historical reasons .... or to monetize it by collecting a bunch of unique data, images connected to real people.

  • It's human nature ... the vast majority of people are very decent tolerant people.

    It's only a very small minority of the population that cause a lot of problems .... and usually they're the loudest most obnoxious a-holes. They are usually the ones who sway large complacent groups to follow them.

    It's only a few people in our world that cause us not to have nice things.
