Onions can have all kinds of textures and tastes depending on the type, condition and cooking method you use. Try raw red onions in a salad or caramelized for half an hour to put on a burger. Also I suggest removing the first layer (after the skin) as it's often tougher than the rest.
Should they? I don’t watch ads and still hear about new stuff or see it on the shelves and don’t feel like I’m out of touch (at least in the things I care about).
Maybe everyone should do public keynotes like tech companies and then people can go watch it if they care.

a new feature is written and will appear instantly at the users computer. Who cares about testing or of this breaks other features as long as this guy is happy
They are beginner devs, so they should learn to understand how things work.
While Youtube is not ideal, the web has been serving slop long before AI came around due to search engine optimization. No one trusts anything they find there and it also has the same issue with dancing around the topic.
Of course Youtube is now getting filled with AI crap as well so I don’t know where to go next…
But yes I agree that I prefer text based info. For me it’s especially annoying when I find recipes on Youtube and there is no accompanying website for it.
When you’re working on a document in the cloud you have the option to save it (in the cloud) or download it (to your device). Those are two actions that can exist at the same time.
I find it scary how a lot of people don’t have a good permanent storage solution for their photos. If they lose their phone, all photos are gone. Many don’t even know how to transfer files between devices since everything went wireless and that process is not as intuitive anymore.
You sure have to be a little more delicate with a heavy cast iron on glass than if you had a gas stovetop. But that comes pretty automatic if you understand that different materials have different strengths and you don’t have think too much about it.
I wouldn’t necessarily trust them to live long in a high traffic restaurant kitchen.
Here in Germany everyone is using radiant heat or induction cooktops. I’ve never broke the glass or seen that anywhere. Don’t know what you’re doing with it.
I try to be but it was honestly overwhelming since I’m actually not a very social person, especially not back then. Luckily he was talking most of the time. It was a learning experience for me and I’m glad I did it.
Once an old guy asked me to hold the door for him when the train stops so he can stand up and get out. I did but he took very long to stand up so I instinctively went to help him, the door closed and the train went on. So we both excited at the next stop and wanted to get the train back. It was the worst possible stop because the walk was crazy long and the old guy crazy slow. Me being way too helpful, I walked with him and he told me about how his family never visits him anymore and all kinds of trouble in his life, while one train after the other passed by. Eventually we arrived on the other side, got back to the original stop and exited. I escorted him to a taxi. He was very thankful for the adventure and I was a few hours late to work.
