No gods, no masters.

  • Virtue signaling is a good thing. The problem is lack of virtue, not presence of signals.
  • how are they paying for the hosting?

  • It's a 6000 year old tradition.

  • It's because they buy the veterinary products as a way to circumvent existing reasonable limits for human use of ivermectin. It's implicitly against doctors' recommendations and prescriptions.

Alternatively, they're buying ego-boosting pills/pastes that feed the fantasy that they're special/chosen people who are in the know about "secrets hiding in plain sight" like a common antiparasitic drug having incredible curative properties.

  • Sometimes they kill their kids. It's not really fair to the kids.

This is some Los Angeles Trump supporter LMAO.

  • I need to move to Scandinavia.

  • The law cannot protect anyone unless it binds everyone; and it cannot bind anyone unless it protects everyone. -- Frank Wilhoit

There are paradoxes in the system, but rest assured that these religions, the Abrahamic ones and other World religions, are all conservative in their construction.

You are not going to find the answers to the paradoxes, you're not going to find the equilibrium. I'm certainly not going to give you the solutions in some obscure comment, this kind of stuff requires shelves of books and papers.

Note that if you think the satire magazine is some dangerous fascist organization posting their propaganda in order to recruit for an underground militia type organization, you have to prove that. It's not too difficult to prove or disprove, but that can be a skill in of itself, something all moderators everywhere should have.

Here's one of their covers satirizing French racists:

  • Let me introduce you to:

    slavery

  • A portal site which lists search results. Each result contains a list of definitions/entries - each from different instances. Editors from different instances can decide to agree with others at multiple levels (granularity), right down to a definition. It would probably be difficult to agree on paragraphs, but not impossible. Search results with a lot of "agreement" are showed at the top of the result list, while those with with no agreement are shown at the bottom.

The agreement dynamics can already be seen in science between journals, articles, authors, even if it's less structured and formal. There are now search engines that use AI to measure an agreement/disagreement scale between papers (connected by citations).

Obviously, there needs to be some way to validate, track, and mark the "bad faith" instances to push them down or out of the results entirely. And that way has to be based on a combination of expertise and reputation, not on universal vote counts.

  • "Islamists" are politically far-right - paleoconservatives, theocrats, fascists.

  • Welcome to dangerous bullshit awareness. Strap in and start reading, it's going to get worse.

Naomi Klein has a bunch of nice contemporary books to start to get a grasp on it. I don't know* of a book that's specific to your case, but I hope that you'll understand that you're case is not that specific.

  • LET'S GOOOO

  • Aside from that. Accessibility standards are hardly considered even now and I'd rather install a generated audio version option with some audio poisoning to mess with the AIs listening to it.

  • I've been thinking for a while about how a text-oriented website would work if all the text in the database was rendered as SVG figures.

  • "NOM" is an onomatopoeic term for eating (an eating sound).

  • And they will use every tool like media, social media, TV, film, and more to keep us that way.

You forgot about the giant holy cow in the room.

  • For instance, even in a doomsday scenario (for them) of the French Revolution, the rich will have personal security guards. These people will be paid very well (relative to the general population), which will keep them loyal enough. They will eat at secure restaurants (similar deal), and enjoy activities in secure locations.

In a collapse scenario, their money will be worthless.

  • It's certainly part of the catabolic stage in the system's decay. Due to many reasons, both at the input side and the "drowning in waste" side (example: GHGs waste causing climate destabilization), growth is going to falter which means that the "sharing" strategy of the rich, of the oligarchs, is going to stop working. You may know it as "grow the pie" (instead of "share the pie"). The rich get richer, the rest get poorer, and there are going to be a lot of poor people. That means a lot of desperate people and a lot of people with nothing left to lose.

What you have to watch out for is perhaps two strategies that can stop this:

    1. Scapegoating: vulnerable minorities and more. The rich of a certain ethnicity may become the scapegoats, instead of .... you know, ALL of that class. This would be a misdirection of attention.
    2. Jingoism, chauvinism and various forms of ultra-nationalism. This would be a misdirection of violence... instead of "punching up", it becomes "punching the foreign threat", which means war.
    3. Combined 1 & 2. It's usually called fascism.

    Something to print:

On a related note, I really liked the recent season of "Arcane" (both seasons are great). https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11126994/
