    Technological civilization is capable of emerging, but it would not be able to well understand anything beyond the terra firma, not untill it generated aircraft capable of breaching the cloud cover layer, and then developed airborne observatories.

    Oh then of course slavery is good sometimes actually, here I invented a scenario where this is true.

    I got bored of Harry Potter, and just reread Animorphs.

    Which certainly has problematic characters and moments and events... but ... they are bad things, that the characters have to actually deal with, its a much more complex and engaging story overall, imo, though of course the serial format means that some books are not so great in comparison to others.

    Kinda the same thing with Redwall.

    But the existence of forbidden moves does not negate the concept of rope a dope as a strategy.

    Like, just because its possible to say, punch someone in the back of the head, or go for a takedown in a stand up only fight... this does not somehow make rope a dope... not a widely known strategy.

    Fox News is currently doing their best to present him as a sane alternative, indeed JD (along with Kusher and ... some other goober, Wittkoff?) is the one being sent to Islamabad this weekend as the lead negotiator.

    JD is of course an evil piece of shit with no principles at all who is functionally a ventriloquist dummy of Peter Thiel... but he's fairly shrewd, his brains are not leaking out of his ears... he's considerably more rational than Trump.

    JD is also fairly widely suspected to be one of the main people in the cabinet leaking things to the NYT and other journos.
