  • I'm wondering how you're paying Google for a thing but also apparently not actually paying them for the thing... Is YouTube premium piracy a thing or something?

  • Sounds like you've already been swayed if you're just handing Google money

  • Nuh-uh it's magnetohydro which means it's magnet juice not water trust me bro. Iirc it's charged hydrogen plasma though.

  • The biggest concern I've always had since I first became really aware of the potential for AI was that someone would eventually do something stupid with it while thinking they are fully in control despite the whole thing being a black box.

  • Iirc magnetohydrodynamic or MHD generators were a possible way to not boil water

  • Yeah I don't understand why they moved away from recipe cards and single page things you can just look at.

  • I don't think it's a waning crescent, it looks like there's a hole in the moon.

  • Last I checked north Korea hadn't invaded

  • Definitely felt like the new war was a bit of a letdown after the first few, and the whole time loop thing in the other quest was a neat premise but the execution felt a bit all over the place. Actually my biggest issue with more recent Warframe stuff is that it feels like nobody says no to any ideas. I do still drop in to see where it's at though.

  • Dawntrail has its issues but it's definitely hard to get something off the ground after a conclusion like EW. I think it was alright, not too strong on the story department and they wasted some characters imo but the content was really good.

  • Shadowbringers was a treat most of the way through, very unique and the constant feeling of dread was great. Except the trolley part, I spent weeks stalled on the story at that bit. Amaurot was worth it though.

  • ARR has huge pacing issues and a lot of stuff that just isn't that great. However, it's basically essential for the later on stuff and can't really be trimmed down that well without losing a lot of stuff. It does get good though :/

  • I've capped out 32 and still do fairly regularly. But I used to do a bunch of 3D and rendering. Now I do photo editing and just have other stuff open. 64 would help a bit for me but I can live.

  • Yeah, 50 is nice until you want to zoom. I've found a lot of use with a 70-300 I got cheapish a month or so after getting my first camera but the electronics are becoming less reliable so I'm looking at others in the same range now. Very easy to spend a lot of money but I've been having fun with some weird vintage lenses. Got a 500mm soviet one a couple of months ago and that's surprisingly sharp, I think I spent around £30 on it.

  • I like it. Cold weather is best and I don't appreciate trying to sleep when it's bright.

  • Oh is eggroller not doing FFXIV stuff now?

  • Diffuse "daylight" lights can work fairly well, you want around 5600k for a neutral light. You want the whole food to be in focus but having a wide aperture can help lock in the focus to just the food. The rest is composition though and part of that is just rearranging until it feels like it looks good. Oh and i think you're better off not cutting the plate off like that or being closer, so centering more like you said could help.

  • Gorgeous, delicious, deculture!
