She went in to Walmart to find a Black and Decker battery charger. She brought a battery from home to check if it fit. It turns out that Walmart does not sell Black and Decker products.
When she left she was stopped and accused of stealing the battery that they don't even sell. She was detained by the police for almost an hour as they checked security camera footage to prove that she stole something that they, again, DON'T FUCKING SELL! They don't even sell products made by that fucking company!
A one minute scan of their inventory would show that but they decided to waste everybody's fucking time.
It should be the other way around. LEO should be required to get regulator mental health help. It's a stressful job, potentially dangerous, they're armed and have people's lives in their hands. We need to make damn sure they are capable of handling that with a sound mind.
Or when someone goes down an alley in NYC. There are hardly any alleys in Manhattan. It's a tiny island and every inch of usable space is occupied. That's why there are piles of trash everywhere.
I'm typing this from an inflatable pool in my back yard. The water bill is going to be outrageous but that's a small price to pay to be able to go outside.
First off, fuck this artist for implying that working in the service industry is not difficult nor requires skill.
Second, I make a very good living as a tipped worker in the service industry. There's no way in hell that a small business owner could afford to pay a wage even close to what I make in tips.
There is an established system in place in certain industries the US and it works. Otherwise people wouldn't do those jobs.
That being said, I don't think we should be adding that system to other jobs. Everyone knows to tip your bartender. Not everyone is going to know that now you have to tip your supermarket cashier just for them make a decent wage.
This literally happened to my girlfriend.
