  • We have a tuxedo cat, too, and he pulls off the same thing. Murderous stare and everything.

  • "Lets play until I go too far and then you feel bad!"

    FTFY

  • What do you mean? Sociology I kind of get, but psychology nowadays is a purely quantitative discipline (despite its subject being squishier than other quantitative sciences).

  • Similarly, French writer Collette wrote a novel (La chatte) from the perspective of a woman who is tormented by jealousy towards her husband's cat.

  • Is this going to be the Lemmy version of The Dress?

  • Brb, gonna take some of that Charizardimap the doc prescribed me against my anxiety. It's super effective.

  • For me, it was similar, but it totally grew on me. It's an acquired taste.

  • Regular multiplication? Sure. But this is Rustydrd multiplication, which assigns different values to products I don't like.

  • Here you go. By the commutative property of multiplication:

    2 + 2x4 = 2 + 24x

    Rearranging this leads to:

    x = -1/12

    which means that x is the limit of the diverging series:

    x = 1 + 2 + 3 + ...

  • Earl Grey is what got me to switch from being a coffee-only to mostly-tea guy. But after a year or so, I got tired of the bergamot and switched to other teas. First to other types of flavored tea, then plain tea. Nowadays, I drink about one pot of tea each day, and it's mostly Darjeeling or an occasional Oolong.

  • Left is nigiri, right is maki. Both are types of sushi.

  • This reminds me that many history-related Wikipedia articles like this one don't have an English version yet. Might be a nice project in anticipation of Trump's b-day.

  • Yeah, me too. I'm doing the smartphone equivalent of typing with two fingers.

  • You monster.

  • I feel like this is probably common sense. The council of people over 20 have decided this months ago, and it should become law any minute now.

  • Image quality is so bad, I can't even tell if this is Euro, Ussie, or Aussie football.

  • There are two kinds of people: x and x.

  • Tbf, I've been using sudo rm -rf /* for years, and it has made every computer problem I've ever had go away. Very effective.

  • I'm honestly not sure if there's much of a difference at this point. Trump's approval has been below 50% since a few weeks after he took office. His net approval has been negative since March. Even the net approval on his most favorable substantive issue (immigration) has been negative since June (Source). If there really was a difference between Trump's approval and that of his administration, I don't understand what that would even mean.
