What does “written by” mean? Who defines authorship? What does “mostly” mean? Who defines ratio? Is this going to be enforced in practice? Who is going to enforce it? Based on which reporting?
Yea, I have the VNC virtual docker hack running and it’s annoying. The weird UI is even worse because the virtual desktop doesn’t map properly and dialogs become full screen affairs etc.
Unless someone phyiscally breaks into my house and steals my server. Which would require a very targeted attack which again is WAAY out of scope in my (and everyone else’s) threat model
People criticising Telegram have no idea how big some of the channels there are. They’re stupid big. Like full ass Discord server but with one channel big.
That needs automated moderation tools - bots as well as built in tools to manage lager groups.
Signal doesn’t do that at all. It’s a good replacement for group texts, not communities.
And for me personally: missing first party bot support makes it a complete non-starter.
And a quick search says that it had a definite ending with no cliffhanger 🥰
