the music there right now is a tad old, but it deals with my struggles/realizations about my sexuality and gender, thus some of it is very busy and noisy because I had a lot going on in my head at the time (still do but yeah) and this sort of wall of sounds music was soothing to me at the time. I am now working on some more ambient music as well as maybe some vocal pop music :) I have a lot on my plate at the moment though

  • The thing is, it's not just the bullshit that's happening now, the bullshit has been happening all along, they were just much better at being covert or weren't quite as blatant with their greed. I don't know about that, everything I was taught in school about this country turned out to be complete crap, and the people who are supposed to be angry at the kind of tyranny going on right now, who were waving don't tread on me flags my whole life, are the ones most vehemently supporting it. So I dunno what we got left. I have hope left in people, not ideas of nations blurred by history and endless retellings of how it came to be.

  • I see, thank you, I've always just used my tree structure as my playlist, as I typically listen to whole albums at once, so I've used simple audio players like 1by1 on Windows or Deadbeef on Linux where I can just browse my file system and play music. It seems most things nowadays use playlists

  • I've almost certainly had them then as I live in Wisconsin and have bought store brand pickles before, thank you for the info :) I guess I would say better than Bick's then, because I think they recycle old pickle juice for the store pickles or something, at least the ones I've tried haha

  • I have a lot of music in folders, could you elaborate a bit on that? I'm kinda interested in doing something like this sometime instead of copying music all the time lol but if it ignores folders I'll check another solution

  • I've never had or heard of Bick's actually so I couldn't say. Looks like it was a Canadian brand that was bought by an American company so maybe we don't have it, we probably have the same product under a different name somewhere tho, like 4 companies make everything now

  • Oh, interesting, I have aleppo pepper but never heard of urfa biber. I love aleppo it has almost a citrus tang to it. I've had the Trader Joe's harissa it's good yea, they used to make an aleppo sauce actually but they stopped making it like 3 years ago, too bad it was so tasty on falafel :9 I'll check Alton's recipe and try your tasty alterations :)
