Digit is Digit. I love her. I knew her online from wallstreetbets and she disappeared while going through some shit. I keep needing proof she's safe.

To anyone I've ever treated unfairly, I apologize.

  • Sure is strange though. Imagine reading Tolkien and deciding to be the villains? What kind of mind is that?

  • Makes sense. Sane Americans recognize these policies as sane

  • Duh, but kinda wild to see a big corporation saying it. Are they not satisfied with their relationship with the authorities?

  • But will it try to force me to create an Apple account just to turn it on for the first time, or whatever other bullshit happened last time I tried to buy one?

  • I hope wikifreedia develops into something better than wikipedia

  • Another thing I like about this distro is it's one of the few major upstream-contributing projects that accept cryptocurrency donations

  • Still waiting for at least one state to require all vehicles around bicycle or higher weight/speed must have a human responsible for the controls & liable at all times

  • Nah, anyone that pretends BitTorrent is worse than their server-based thing is just foolish

  • Bullshit headline.

It's forcing them to pay more for Nazis to buy yachts and stuff while making phone calls. It's not like the phone calls are provided at cost and that actual cost has gone up.

  • I just hope Nubia makes a replica of my redmagic phone but with a 64MP camera and non-Google-certified Android where I can install whatever I want.

Or that they continue updating my phone forever with no install restrictions, or unlock all the components to allow open source devs to take over after they stop providing security updates

  • Petitions and stuff don't really matter if you're not prepared to downgrade / stop replacing / stop using cell phones

  • If a nuclear weapon detonates in Earth's atmosphere on Trump's watch, it will be a biological attack on every human that breathes Earth's air, and our right to self-defense should be invoked without one significant shred of deniability.

  • Not worth it for phones right now since they have to use proprietary hardware to connect to LTE/5G networks and the older networks are available in less and less of the world.

You'd do all the work of replacing all the system components you can, only to be left with a totally incomplete job due to that widespread LTE/5G adoption.

Better to focus on what's needed at a given time. Like, with "sideloading" (choosing your own apps) being banned from Google-certified versions of Android, we really need all our phone manufacturers to make non-Google-certified versions of all the Android phones, even if they still use Android.

  • This seems perfect for when you want whatever Wikipedia errors grok can't identify, plus whatever new errors grok can come up with itself.

I'm more worried about chat bots editing the actual Wikipedia

  • I heard a Tor dev talking about fully removing javascript this year or last year, still waiting for them to actually do that. Can't think of any other user experience changes we urgently need updates for

  • Really sad that humans are collectively too dumb to ban driverless cars from anywhere I'm aware of.

Like, aren't there 0 states that have banned this stuff? 0 states that say a driver has to be in control & accountable at all times?

It suggests we have poor chances of surviving climate change, if there's not even a portion of us that can handle something this simple.

  • "Browser that's anti-web" sounds based but "ChatGPT" does not

  • We still need a better nostr video app than plebs.app (or a better version of it)

  • Posers

    Jump
  • Could be fluid dynamics but that's already water. Maybe they should be hydraulics and pneumatics or something
