Digit is Digit. I love her. I knew her online from wallstreetbets and she disappeared while going through some shit. I keep needing proof she's safe.

To anyone I've ever treated unfairly, I apologize.

  • Replying to the second paragraph you added after my reply:

Ontop of that, vaccines are a very strange thing to put in opposition to guns. I know what you’re trying for, but it is again based in ignorance. Vaccines are a universal good. There is a reason, a good reason, vaccines are required in order to go to schools. Whether the pharma industry works off of capitalistic practices is a wholly separate thing. Just because big pharma is a piece of shit capitalist enterprise should not reflect poorly on vaccines themselves.

What are you talking about? What does any of this have to do with the context where you're replying?

I am not OK with how my access to vaccines is unjustly restricted, putting me and my loved ones in senseless danger and violating our constitutional rights, because Democrats go along with Republicans on that whenever the money says so.

  • Panel 1:

A lot of Republicans who are happy with their current gun access are scared of Democrats taking it away, and a lot of Democrats who are happy with their current vaccine access are scared of Republicans taking it away. Both sides notice each other having insane reactions when asked to defer to real experts on these topics.

    Panel 2:

I'm not OK with how my access to firearms is unjustly restricted, violating my constitutional rights in the US, putting me and my loved ones in senseless danger, because Republicans go along with Democrats on that whenever the dollars say so. They don't see the problem with denialism when they're doing it themselves.

Edit: rewritten to reflect my personal situation

  • Did you double check? If so, how?

  • Are you willing to double check what you just said and admit you're wrong, or are you just trying to gang up on me with cult mentality?

This is how much holding your hand through it I'm willing to do, even though I feel like I'm probably wasting my time:

    • Replying to say you're wrong, it's easy to find out you're wrong, and you should correct yourself
    • Suggesting some search queries for you: "ATF agents don't know how guns work," "Democrat politicians embarrass themselves talking about guns," etc.

This is a level of hand holding I'm not willing to do without more feeling that it wouldn't be a waste of time:

    • Spending several minutes to an hour delaying my own reply and other stuff I could be doing, to search the web for pretty common knowledge you're denying, and compile it for you

Edit - fuck it, I don't want to come off as an asshole or disrespect you too much. If you want me to refute you with evidence, just let me know if you prefer text or video format (I think it would be easiest to find a good video or two about this)

  • Yeah, it would be good if at least one of the two parties wasn't just "the corporatist party"

  • Not really. I've never been out of the eastern US and it says I'm based in the Netherlands.

I also hear they're planning to add a label to users that use a VPN, which is supposed to somehow embarrass the VPN users instead of everyone else, lol

  • Sounds kinda cursed tbh

  • Are you seriously suggesting people should stay at employers who force them to share their paycheck with Bill Gates to be inundated with malware instead of switching to Linux?

And are you seriously implying that applies even for a person who is spending 30% of their work time dealing with the malware specifically?

  • Democrats are Republicans. They're called "blue MAGA" for a reason

  • You're literally one of the people working a job that heavily involves Windows, how do you pretend you're not one of the people that decides whether this changes? The cult of denialism is mind boggling. If you don't want to change the fact that you work at a Windows-supporting job, that sounds like why you are at a Windows-supporting job, not that it's impossible to change

  • Oh.

  • Coding is "illegal" now, remember?

  • "every repo in the world"

asks me for an email in order to index the first one I check, lol

  • WiFI and cell networks already have enough spectrum. All this shit makes it very suspicious how "consensus" denies any dangers caused by radio waves. The authorities clearly have no good reason to push this constant increase of radio signal density, they must have bad reasons.

If you can't understand what I'm saying, ask yourself why they keep doing this when they haven't even bothered to enforce false advertising laws on cell carriers who lie about "unlimited data plans."

If you still can't understand what I'm saying after that, keep trying to understand instead of wasting my time with bullshit replies that you'll ignore my replies back to.

  • Nah, it seems fine. This headline is still pretending they're not a malware company. I don't think Microsoft are dumb enough to do anything egregious enough to get headlines calling them out too seriously

  • Then I get half of a not-top-2 distro. And even the "giants" (Ubuntu / Fedora) are too small to develop full stability for their half-distros. Bad situation

  • systemd

Looks like it's already time to move away from MX Linux. That sucks. Whole Linux ecosystem back to getting worse instead of better?
