I offer absurdist edits of absurdist Heathcliff comics, make food, post political memes.

  • Beef roast in a tomato, garlic and onion braise.

  • Definitely pressure can. As long as the lids are sealed the food is still edible. You will lose micro nutrients over the years but the macros will still be there.

  • Slice, seasoning, oil, toss to coat. Preheat oven to 425 with a cast iron pan on the bottom rack, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place fries close but not touching. Bake for 35 minutes.

  • Grace

    Jump
  • No change. She is still hissy. She got her first round vaccines today. We have a few weeks before fixing and boosters. Then I need to see if we can find someone that doesn't mind the hissing and needs a cat that will keep their chest warm for hours and a time.

  • Cost from today with beef prices from three years ago thanks to the power of canning. If I found beef for under $2 a pound I always found a way to can it for later.

  • Thank you for rescuing the leek and giving a purpose

  • A lot of the kittens I have worked on have been shipped up to Connecticut and other northern states to places that have this as their rule. I've recently had about ten adopted locally at a cat cafe. They have their rules. I don't make the rules. I tame the cats.

  • So am I. Might do it with rice. Though not brown. I just have never liked brown rice.

  • Sometimes I'll dice up whole canned tomatoes before putting them in.

Figuring out the eggs can be difficult. Definitely something that takes practice.

I've never tried this rice. Interesting.

Definitely don't cut the simmer short. Way better to go long.

I buy coriander in stupidly large quantities and always have a jar of ground available that I'll do up in my spice grinder..

  • That'll do.

  • Make it. Enjoy it.

  • In it. The eggs are in the custard dip.

  • We haven't the room. But there is an open invitation for anyone paying for the ingredients to have a meal.

  • It's a mystery.

  • Italian parsley works too.

  • It's only garnish so it could be served without it.

  • Someone in the comments decided they had a lot to say but nothing to contribute so they resorted to the old tradition of flinging poop in order to feel better about themselves. A regrettable situation. But they have the chance to get therapy during the 6 months that they won't be here.

  • Sometimes I use a similar spice blend on some ground lamb or ground beef and then add it in toward the end. In this particular batch, I minced up a jalapeno and added it in there. It's always up for modifications.

  • And with some HRT your uncle can be your aunt. Are you familiar with Neil deGrasse Tyson's Discovery that something can be true but not helpful? He figured it out after being hypercritical of something and then learning that he didn't really accomplish anything with that.

It's very similar to what is going on in your comments here. Is that steak? Your meal is nothing but its side dishes. Without the egg this is still a tasty meal. Without your comment, this post would have still been successful.
