  • Just gotta fake it til you make it, i.e. cook the books and take loans out against the falsely inflated value of the business. Surely you can recoup the money plus interest plus enough to make up for the lack of money that led you down this path to begin with, and won't have to take out increasingly larger loans from increasingly shady entities.

  • Are we talking about American Football, because if so I'd have to argue against that position. If anything the trend seems to be towards more risk taking with going for it on 4th down more instead of punting or kicking field goals, going for 2 point conversions more often, lots more kick returns with the new kick off rules, mobile QBs running all over the place instead of throwing it away or checking it down.

    If it's the other Football, I know nothing about that.

  • Honestly, having always had big family meals laid out with silverware and such at the start, and lots of inevitable return trips as people forget, I think you're onto something with this silverware at the end proposition.

    (could also be alleviated by just having all that set up at the table beforehand but for some reason we've never done things that way)
