  • First day on the internet?

  • How many buildings that you enter have an easily identifiable architect?

  • Weird. I wonder what makes the difference because I've got an RTX 4060 in my main machine and a laptop with an AMD card and haven't had an issue. Idk I've also got the mesa driver's installed as a fallback though and headers.

I guess I also don't use a typical DE so that could have something to do with it. Dwm seems to basically always just work as long as the system posts.

  • It's super rare in my experience over the last 10+ years.

  • It's all for Susan Collins right?

  • You dropped this "/s"

  • More like personal trainer I think.

Plenty of people are psychologically healthy without a regular offload to a therapist. That doesn't mean that they couldn't benefit some or that others couldn't benefit a lot, but you don't need a therapist to have good mental health.

  • Does your own voice sound like commenters here? I've done a few sessions for issues I couldn't resolve, but IMO the vast, VAST majority of issues are not issues that require a professional touch.

  • We don't need therapy for every negative emotion. Some we might if they are persistent. But I agree, it is possible to rise to the occasion more often than not when it comes to dealing with our emotions and our current situation.

  • Therapy is a band aid for the alienation we feel under capitalism.

Therapy is the bandaid for the troubles facing all vegans.

Therapy is the bandaid for the unreasonable expectations that neurodivegents face.

Therapy is the bandaid for the products of systematic racism in Western nations.

Bro. This is not an infomercial. There are problems in the world and one aspect that touches you is not the explanation of all therapy. Jesus H.

  • I would eat it.

  • I'm not sure it matters who goes both ways, but I will agree.

  • I'm in a blue pinprick in a red state and all my family and all the surrounding towns are deep red even after Trump 2.0. I'm not sure they actually support the policies and positions but it's what they THINK their position is and it's what their "identity position" is (my dad was a Republican and his dad was a Republican and I'm a Republican). It's tough. I would love to move but it's easier to move TO something than from it.

We have had more than a few family battles to say the least.

  • He has made the argument that federal law (17rh amendment) supercedes state law on that front and so he's allowed even now to start a replacement. He just needs to fuckin do it and let someone call him on it though if that's his position. Take a page out of the trump playbook.

  • The first flight of the largest battery-electric aircraft to take to the skies lasted nearly half an hour while costing just $5 of electricity.

The X1 aircraft is comparable in size to a small regional airliner and can achieve a maximum takeoff weight exceeding 25,000 pounds with the help of four wing-mounted electric motors. The battery-electric propulsion system delivered more than one megawatt of power during the maiden flight.

It doesn't tell us what the load was for the test flight at this price point.

You're probably right that it is good and slow and much less weight.

    Likely a short flight.

  • Yeah the problem is they also don't tell us the load during the flight. From the lift equation (let's be hand wavey) if they're a similar size to a regional jet (same planform area) your heavy lift is better driven by speed than lifting coefficient. Of course, it's hard to go fast with electric props, so I wonder if a safe ceiling is probably 400Kt 300Kt?

Gives a nice range of you know... 40 to 200 150 miles.

    Edit:

No way. The speed record for a prop aircraft currently stands at about 300Kt. If we use that generously our new ceiling is lower.

  • I like a blue point every now and again. I find I like them better plain (or a with little lemon) than with all the accoutrements. I do actually enjoy them now once in awhile, but I don't ever REALLY want half a dozen to myself.

  • Following on: Dumb people exist.

Not like "Of course, in theory dumb people exist". Actually, practically, there will be people in this thread who can't conjugate verbs or spell and it's not because they speak a different language, not because auto correct isnt working, and not anything else. It's from being lower on the bell curve.

"Oh but dream_weasel! Some people are just differently-abled!". Yeah... And some aren't.

  • Yes you missed at least one whole section including a graphic that shows the breakdown of the watermark with typo fixing, light paraphrasing, moderate and heavy editing.
