  • It's not meant to be easy! It's actually best when it's challenging and thought provoking

    Any criticism, or insult or demeaning action I get, I try to swallow my pride and check if it's justified. It sometimes is! If it's not, I let it slide and try to keep on.

    That said, tone and respect is important but not always reciprocal and at some point it may be best to not pursue a meaningful discussion

    In my experience though, this is rarely the case!

    They just want to tell their opinion and don't care about what opinion others have or even consider their angles

    Sand pendulum. Basically a pendulum that draws patterns on very fine sand. If you see them you can probably make one yourself that is even cooler

  • I'm almost 50 and had to look up DAE 🤷 It turns out that it is an abbreviation for 48 meanings!

    I figured it stands for Does Anyone Else but what has clearly changed as I grew older is, how tired I am of abbreviations

  • Nice! The reason why i did a color change is that dark fillament does not let as much light through, so the logo pops a lot more than if the whole badge is illuminated. Also I have set the infill to 40% just to hide it from showing like that.

    That said, I wanted to make one where the logo is countersunk into a solid top. That might be even nicer!

    Also maybe use some temporary glue, until you settle on something that works well. I'd be afraid that the one you made, might show the apple logo too much. It will simply just shine through it

  • Nice! I'd love to see pictures of it in green. I didn't have green filament so I went with red. Will you use solid green or translucent?

    It might be worth trying both in order to see how the light shines through them, before glueing it on 👍

  • The one that I had in my junk drawer 😜 I think it is some sort of contact adhesive. Honestly though, I don't know if it is the right choice. I was going for a hold that was strong, but maybe also breakable if I wanted to replace it. This is why i didn't use super glue or two component stuff.

    That said, it's only been there for a few hours, so this may also be a thing you'd need to adjust to your needs

  • Only improvement would have been to translate the texts to the local languages (and maybe make the text shorter). Maybe also add each recipient as BCC instead of them all being able to see each other

  • When you find them, go check the user's other posts and comments.

    I find that often, they have deleted all their content and sometimes even their account. This is especially the case in Reddit where people seem to have gotten enough

  • Thanks! I was especially concerned to have a private seller ship the printer, but when they told me that they had the original box I felt pretty safe that it would be ok.
