  • I don't see any differently at it than some people can juggle and others can't. Or some people play instruments and others don't. They are not better or worse for it

I speak 3 languages and it's just normal to me. If someone looks up to that then it's great but I don't feel more valuable or better for it.

  • you are both right

  • I feel like I must add to this, that what works can vary depending on who you are. Books my work for many, music for some, gaming for others.

    It's about finding what does.

Lastly, even healthy (both physical and mentally) solutions can become unhealthy if overused

  • So... Some background information. I originally posted this in c/mildly interesting

Greece has been plagued by corruption for ages and trust in authorities is minimal. Greek news notoriously writes about system exploitations, power abuse and corruption. The police has been a key feature to demonstrate this. Recently they have also focused on police giving celebrities rides in police cars

All in all Greeks seem to be tired of the authorities not doing their job and abusing the power and means that they have been assigned

  • Why use a screenshot of a color and not set the wallpaper to said solid color?

  • I found the large one for the equivalent of $7.70 on the local marketplace

I messaged the seller to check if the price was right, and she said she wouldn't go lower 🤷

So I went and picked it up the same day. It was even in the original box with the original measuring spoon included!

  • I have had no issues with the large one whatsoever. I have a friend who has had issues with his, but it just needed a good cleaning and has never done it again.

I like the idea of the uno model, but i can make one cup in mine too, and i found the idea of those mini filters unpractical. I also never make just ine (small) cup. I usually make 4, when i wake up and 2 when i just need a single mug. And it is just so fast!

  • I used to have a thing for coffee brewers. Would try out so many different options and spend a lot of money on getting them (second hand)

I eventually settled on my Moccamaster. Tis the best coffee brewers I've had and I wouldn't trade it for anything else by now

  • I think that the key parameters here is the water you bathe in. Hard water can be rough in your skin. PH is also a factor

  • This information helps HP design future products to meet our customers' printing needs.

🤔🤔🤔 I doubt this very much...

  • Best transition for me was to go in and define my own keyboard shortcuts that matched the ones from Photoshop

  • Discord seems to be the obvious alternative although i hate it.

  • Oh no. Way better that Tinkercad if you ask me. I have already been able to make way more complicated shapes and designs than I had ever thought possible with Tinkercad

  • They have since released V1 that seems to be pretty solid. Still not 100% but for a free software it is a very useful tool that gets most jobs done

  • I think it's called parametric design right?, freeCAD suppports this but I have heard that there is a bug when trying to edit shapes with filet I think?

  • Personally I'd say go with freeCAD even for simple designs too. Its a great way to learn the software and you will not end up adjusting you designs to the limitations that tinkercad has. Them the transition to more complicated designs will be less painful

Also I feel like it is difficult to do premise placement on tinkercad

  • For the people surprised that gelatine is made of animals, you can look into Agar powder.

It's made of algae, and works the same way as gelatine. In my opinion it's better because you can reliquify it if you need to. It's a bit harder to activate though as you'll need to bring it up to a boil instead of just mixing it into luke warm water. It stiffens up nicely and very clear though and faster that gelatine even at room temperature

  • You'll need to get used to many new things when switching to Linux. Changing to FreeCAD could as well be one of those

It will be frustrating, and it will take some time to get used to but honestly it's worth it. If not for anything else then to flex your brain cells and keep them nimble
