I'm a generalist myself. The upswing is that you can probably choose a new career and train up pretty quick, faster if you make a relatively lateral move to a field related to your current one, especially if you can highlight transferable skills built at work. The downswing is you're likely to get bored of any one job eventually.
It's hard to say exactly what fields are transferrable without knowing the specifics of your current career. You can try to find a line of work that presents diverse stimulating problems and rewards generalist thinking. You can always try to fulfill your potential outside of work, since it sounds like the job isn't very taxing. Pick up a productive hobby or start volunteering or get politically active or something. Join an organization devoted to making a positive impact and contribute your time and effort. Maybe identify something you do really well and teach other people how to do it. As a generalist I've done a bit of all of these things, and they all bring some degree of fulfillment, some sense of effectively implementing my potential.
Depends. One central authority responsible for everything seems like a really bad idea. On the other hand, one central authority responsible for things like human rights and ecological risks seems like a really good idea. In general I like recursive federated government, with the highest levels having the narrowest scope and deferring most things to lower levels.
I don't trust random charities. I do plenty of charitable giving, but I vet the organizations I give to. I don't know how the random charity on the screen uses their funds.
You ever seen 3d prints from 20 years ago? They were low res goopy slop. Now we're months away from off-the-shelf 8-toolhead printers. My newest printer uses dithering to blend 4 colors into nearly any color I could want. That tech can be used to blend flavors and textures rather than colors.
It's a fascinating technology, with an active development base. I see no reason why the relatively near future won't have actual 3d printed pizzas. With the right bed and nozzle heating, you can even get a nice crispy texture.
Food is mostly made of sugar, complex carbs, fat, and protein. You could probably make a pretty decent printer with a dozen cartridges, and fructose would be a reasonable choice for one of them. The pizza isn't going to taste right without fructose in the tomato sauce.

Real A5 Wagyu melts in your mouth, it's absolutely a different result than marinating. You wouldn't want to eat a whole steak of that though, way too rich. You want a few ounces at most, but those few ounces are divine. If you could stomach a whole steak, it almost certainly wasn't A5.
