There are like a bajillion studies relating voter psychology and political preferences. If you want conservatives to vote you run on anger, holding onto what you have, fear of the other. You want the other side to vote, you have to present a vision of what's possible.

Edit: on further inspection the first user seems to peak at about 16:00, whereas the second user has their peak usage at ~14:00, which, obviously, means they're both dumping grumpies at around that time.
