    What a catch!

  • Ah, that clears it up a lot..

  • Oh! That could've been my mistake. I typed ö with the dots instead of ő with the little lines. Thanks

I'm reading now that the ő suffix makes it refer to a person?

  • This is so interesting and also so overwhelming, lol. Thank you. I remember you (I think) mentioning to look out for the endings of words before.

I've heard of some other languages doing something similar. For example, I've been trying to learn a bit of Danish recently, and they'll sometimes tack on an -et to the end of a word to say "the". I know German is supposed to be a language where you can frequently combine a bunch of words, but I'm not exactly sure how it works. Languages are fun.

  • It does look like an early one, but so far it's been rare to find a source with print dates for individual strips.

  • If I'm honest, it really feels like a LOT of media got suddenly worse some time in the 2010s in general. TV, movies, big budget games - I know enshittification is a thing in every industry, but it feels like there was a major quality drop in such a short period of time.

There are obviously some exceptions, but it's like a switch was flipped, and my interest was gone. GoT was one that carried on for a while, but then it succumbed to it too.

  • Ha, this is exactly the one I had in mind with my comment. I've re-watched it many times.

  • I'm the absolute worst at hearing lyrics, but I like this band's sound!

  • Ha, seriously! I was proud of myself for guessing that Könyve probably meant book, because I remembered translating Könyv from this one a few weeks back:

  • It was really, really good for so long. I've been tempted to rewatch it. Lots of series have terrible endings and are still enjoyable.

  • It's amazing how strong the fandom for it still is. I realized that if I make it to 2066, I'll have a favorite show that is 100 years old.

  • Years ago, I used Moonlight to cast to an Nvidia Shield. It worked pretty well, although it still required a lot of back and forth to tinker with things on the host PC. Still, it was better than the Steam Link at the time. Recently, I tried using the built-in streaming in Steam to play on a different PC in the house, but it was much the same story: lots of back-and-forth, launchers were annoying, and sometimes it wouldn't display on the right screen.

Maybe virtual machines would be an improvement.
