    You have no idea what you actually pay collectively, each year, in direct and indirect costs. You look at your annual tax refund like a scratch off winning ticket.

    Actual truth is that you'd spend the same or less for better care (and better care for those around you) if you just got out of your own way and admitted you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • There's no best site, depending on your work the market has just been completely broken at this point. If in the US, the jobs numbers are being manipulated and things are in a historically bad position. We're so much worse off than is being discussed .

    One of the key factors in the acceleration toward the Holocaust was extremely high unemployment and groups that felt desperate and/or had nothing left to lose. Take away hope from all, promise one group that the only thing stopping them from succeeding at that point is the "other" group.

    It's a dark answer, but we are living in dark fucking times and it's true.

  • There are two things discussed here, the candidate's statement (indefensible, as expressed) and OPs headline saying that people are being "BANNED!" by Ohio dem party. To the second, the screenshot you post isn't communicating that, it's communicating that another elected official was asked by their party to discuss the matter strategically in public while work is done internally to address this and form a united response - those things being take stakes for elected politics - and they weren't happy with the pace of any supposed internal resolution and unified public response, which is understandable. But all of that has nothing to do with OPs choice to push Abby in the morning's inflammatory headline of " BANNED!!!" which is only intended to leave left minded peoples split against themselves.

  • Think "law and order" if it followed the guy who they interviewed once at a bar to ask about a murder. It's a show following that guy's life, but you see "marishka hargatay" sometimes, but only briefly as they cross paths. It's also a surreal show that knows it's filming a show while the characters don't know they are characters in a show.

  • Hard to trust anything today, but word is that this is potentially linked to Taylor farms lettuce (in part linked to taco bell, likely among other yet to be named places as they are a huge supplier). They attempt to blame farms in Mexico, may be true, but their main facilities are in Salinas, CA.

    BE AWARE that Taylor Farms has several sub-brands, including Earthbound Farm (Costco carries) and Eat Smart. Would not be surprised if they also white labeled for places like trader joes.

  • Start by asking yourself honestly if you need an Instagram replacement or if you really just need a substitute to replace the dopamine you get from a behavior - meaning basically, you probably just want a new infinite scroll for when you feel bored, restless or awkward and need a diversion.

    If that's the case, look at some of the stumbleupon clones or maybe the wiktok kind of tik tok style wrapper for wikipedia type apps. But if you truly need Instagram specifically, the good news is that pixelfed is mostly there, hard part is that you now need to convince many to come use it for it to "feel" full and fun
