  • That’s what’s up. In my brief testing when it was just available M1 on a spare MBA, it was pretty sweet!

  • It’s always something.

    — My Life

  • When I hear the dinosaurs blurt out “that’s communism! He’s a communist!”, I just die laughing. Same thing with “He’s a socialist!” Bruh, the fuck cares about these labels anymore?

  • When we had to work Saturday shifts, I used to take the delivery van I used to a local car wash. $2 for the basic wash. This was in 2013. They of course had the guys at the end of the wash that would dry your vehicle, and it was implied that you would tip them. So it really was a $3 wash. But still.

  • Truly unfortunate.

  • What else do you expect from frauds, liars, and cheaters?

  • Why are you taking such time to shit on an idea that is obviously not going to be implemented? Are you the lead developer?

  • Doesn’t seem like it would be that difficult to do, and I just about guarantee that instances would receive much more in the way of donations if it were a simple click below a post or comment to do so. The whole settings and options don’t have to be a thing.

  • She fits right in

  • Myocardial infarction. Massive. Live TV. Please.

  • My ego demands more. Make it bigger, daddy.

  • Awards. I know they were just a source of revenue for the corp, but they could also fund (donate to) the user’s instance receiving the award. Hell, they could also be set to donate to specific causes, selected by instance admins. The admins could give their users input on which causes to support, if the admins chose not to accept the funds themselves.

They could be optional to enable, and provide no special treatment or experience that the user would receive. They could even be not traceable per user, outside of admin consoles, which would make them useless as a way to accumulate internet points.

I’d bet there would be a good amount of folks that would take part in such an experiment. Instances cost real money to maintain, and making a sort of game of it might provide more donations than a simple “donate” button.

I’m sure there will be people who are vehemently against this idea, for privacy or who else knows reasons. There could be a way to scam money somehow, but if it was optional both as a way to give and receive by instance admins, there would be ways to kill it if necessary.

  • Humanity is the true evil in the world. Some twats make up some stories a couple thousand years ago, and a bunch of real bright people believe it as fact. People then hide their hatred behind “faith” and “god”. We allow those people into positions of power, and look what happens? They now impose their hatred upon us.

Getting the Christian’s out of all levels of government won’t solve everything, but it would certainly help.

  • iPhone 4S was one of my favorite phones. It was around the golden age of jailbreaking in my opinion. So much fun.

If we are going back before smartphones, then the RAZR V3i was a fun phone. SEEM editing was pretty sweet. Like, why was rhythm lights even a thing?

The Nokia 6820 will always have a special place in my heart as well. It was such a perfect little texting machine.

  • I would earmark that money for use for my son’s future. So, no change, just the hope that if the money did become mine, that I’d be able to pass it on to him.

  • I’m proud to say that my son and I are doing our part. I will not relent in my continued condemnation of the apartheid state of Israel. We both voted in the primary, and almost all of my picks got through. I asked him a few days after the results were announced how he voted, stressing to him that he does NOT have to reveal that to anyone, even me, but that I was just curious. Without skipping a beat, he mentioned how our man destroyed Haley and the $30 million dollar infusion by a foreign state.

  • Samesies

  • Why are NYPost links allowed? Might as well post Fox News’ partisan bullshit as well.

I don’t think we need to state the policy and fiscal ideology of the DSA on the left leaning digital space that makes up a significant portion of Lemmy.

The post will print anything their owners tell them to, regardless of integrity, rigor, or truth.

We all know that the billionaires are pressing their bought and paid for politicians to smear the DSA in any way they can. The dem establishment is scared, and are willing to stoop to the level of the republicans in order to maintain their controlled opposition. They’re relying on the general populace being too stupid and lazy to seek out what the DSA actually advocates for.

Shame on @LT_Columbo@feddit.online for posting this garbage. You are an unscrupulous class traitor. Do better.

  • Yes, I’m a terrible person.

It’d be easier for me to just delete the post. However, there have been many thoughtful replies that would be a shame to lose. A select few have taken this as a personal attack, or somehow an ableist assault. I am sorry that they feel that way, but not sorry for asking a question of narrow-minded people.

Call me what you like. This is the internet, it doesn’t matter.
