  • 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • Are you usually this angry? Looking for things to be upset about?

  • Chill, friend. No one was attacking you.

  • 🙄

  • I’m sorry that you feel that way. Do you intentionally avoid food because of a narrow-minded world view? Or do you have sensory issues that make it difficult for you to handle certain textures/flavors/smells? I thought I was pretty clear in that I am asking people who avoid food because of prejudice why they do such a thing.

But yeah, this is somehow a moral judgment about you. 🤦🏻‍♀️

  • Eh, fair.

  • It seems that the question was not directed at you, based on your response.

  • That’s what I’m saying! Why waste a reward?

  • No. His response to anything that is from Asia is “disgusting!”, or something kind of racist.

  • So you don’t spit, eh?

  • Oh dang! Sorry to hear about that.

  • That was just the latest example from him. I brought in some awesome homemade Thum Mak Hoong, and it was a literal nonstarter.

  • Interesting, this is a medical issue? If so, do you feel like you are missing out? Or is it a “whatev” kind of thing?

  • What a coward! 😂😂😂😂

  • Veritassium still puts out good content, private equity or not. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • That’s fair. I was using the term to differentiate between someone who completes an apprenticeship, certificate, or degree program that is required before one can work in certain jobs/professions versus a newspaper ad. An honest days work is work, obviously.

  • Fix it?

  • Serving is an unskilled position. They should be able to make enough money to cover rent, bills, food, family and transportation…with at least something left over at the end of it that could be saved or used for leisure. In other words, they deserve to make as much as any other worker.

    • Take down the order of what I want to eat
    • Give that info to the kitchen
    • Return with Food
    • Ask if the food is good, and if a second round of ordering is needed
    • Occasionally recommend the same dish, over and over

There is nothing that a server does that entitles them to a percentage of my bill. I was a server. On the whole, it sucks if you are not a pretty/hot/cute/desirable person.

Tipping in general is theft. Theft from the customer, and wage theft from the worker.

  • So part time work?
