So much hate for a show that was never meant to be a cinematic masterpiece of comedy? I don’t get it. It’s not supposed to be deep. I watched it for a while, it was funny in its dumb way, and then it just didn’t go anywhere so I quit watching. It was fun for a while. No need for the hate.

Full “I don’t care” mode. Any pretenses of being president of a nation is gone, he’a treating the country like a throwaway business deal. Use it up, bankrupt it, take what he wants. I’d say hooker, but at least they get paid.
Many places already do charge a “line charge” if you have solar power and use little or no utility company power. You pay for being hooked up to the grid even if you barely use it.
They don’t even blame anymore. They just completely ignore it and say “BEST BIGLY JOB NUMBERS EVER!!1” and don’t even acknowledge there was a problem to begin with.
This place has groups that are singlemindedly bloodthirsty and happy to see people hurt, particularly in the US, and don’t have a problem stating so.
Tangentially - the far left extolling the virtues of governing systems that have never really worked due to weak protections against takeover by bad actors and ignoring that those systems are just as corruptible as any other. Humans are f’d up and someone always games the system for personal or tribal advantage.
Linux. Yeah, it’s great. No, it cannot do everything Windows does, and we’re going to ignore that and deride you for playing AAA studio games that have anticheat that linux breaks or other software that doesn’t work on the OS. That’s your fault, we’ll be smug about it, and still recommend ditching Windows.
Conspiracies. This place acts like it has some superior thought or logic but as soon as something happens the conspiratards immediately make it a conspiracy and can’t be told otherwise regardless of logic - or accept a far more real but less exciting conspiracy. Everyone jumps on the bandwagon.
Lastly it’s missing the hobby and interest groups. It’s mostly memes and politics. I’d like to see more actual communities of interests and support for hobbies on the Fediverse rather than the constant grind of how f’d up the world is.
Small price to pay… besides the US bases being targeted by missiles, the billions in defense hardware being used, refineries in neighboring countries being targeted and hit, the economy under further seige, and we haven’t yet been hit by the price increases due to transportation costs of goods.
Don’t get too excited about the pot-out-of-draft card. If this regime doesn’t hand you a shitty rifle with a coffee can for a helmet to get rid of their lib opponents by throwing them at the meatgrinder they’ll just send you to a work camp and starve you to death.
