  • I find it impossible to use for anything that involves historical / old information.

It's all live chat it seems, so if someone asked a question on how to do X within Y 8 months ago and that's what you are trying to find the answer to as well, it's practically impossible to find so you have to ask it again and hope someone is around with the answer.

It's a place that's only useful for live discussions on recent topics, which is quite limited in use.

  • I hope they realize that the more more they hand over to Trump the less necessary their jobs become.

Eventually Trump will just dissolve Congress because what's they point of their jobs anymore?

  • Same, I was disappointed though that they never asked for a reason why

  • There was someone who reported that due to the incompetence of whitehouse staffers, some of the Epstein files had simply been "redacted" in ms word by highlighting the text black, so people were actually able to remove the redactions by turning the pdf back into word and removing the black highlighting to reveal the text.

Who knows if some of the photos might be the same issue.

  • Usually rats hang out in areas that provide them with food or shelter

Do you have a compost bin or a messy yard where it might feel comfortable?

Might be best to take care of those issues first otherwise even if you kill it another one might just move in right after.

  • They only just got swipe capability for going from one email to the next in the app. I'm super happy it happened but damn it took long enough.

  • Fuck.

Now instead of each new generation of TVs being slightly higher in resolution some god damn business tech executive is going to focus on some god damn bullshit to try and change or add which is going be absolutely fucking ridiculous or pointless and annoying like AI television shit or TV gaming or fuck my life. Smart TVs are bad enough but they can't help themselves they need to change or add shit all the fucking time to "INNOVATE!!!" and show stockholder value.

Resolution was something easy and time consuming but we can't rely on that keeping them from fucking TV up any more.

  • These two lines literally contradict each other... Who the fuck wrote this? Which one is correct, because they can't both be?

  • I have an app which reduces the quality of the app for apple users to force them to subscribe more than Android users.

The price is the same, but on android there's no limit to the number of saves you can keep whereas Apple has a limit of 5 and you need to Subscribe at $30/year to unlock more saves.

  • How much do you wanna bet Trump wouldn't be so gung ho on Greenland if he saw this map? He probably thinks he is going to double the size of America.

  • Yeah it's pretty shit. My province only recently made it a requirement to provide a minimum of 5 paid sick days to full time staff due to COVID.

Part timers I believe only get 3 / year.

Canada is the middleman for everything on the scale of the States being far to one side of the scale and EU being the opposite side, Canada usually sits somewhere in the middle.

  • In Canada you only get 4 weeks after you have worked for the same company/organization for ten years. You only get 3 weeks after 5 years.

Get a new job after 8 years? Start all over with 2 weeks vacation.

  • I think we have. In my area many deer during hunting season spend the time within city limits where it's illegal to fire guns. I am pretty sure they've figured it out.

  • So its shit like this why RAM costs are up 500% or more?

  • I don't disagree with the sentiment, but I do disagree with your reasoning

Personally I don't vote for what affects my life in the most positive way, because that seems a little selfish although it's understandable.

I vote for what I believe affects everyone's life more positively, even if it's not necessarily a benefit to my specific situation. I might not be gay but I would vote for the candidate who supports gay marriage vs the one that might give me a $1000 check for tariff profits.

  • I mean, I haven't read anything specific to this case but knowing the internet and knowing how people treat others regarding "leopards eating faces"

It's almost guaranteed they were being mocked.

  • The first thing I do when emailing an attachment is to attach it.

Then I write and review my email.

The last thing I do is fill out the To field, that way I don't accidentally send it before it's done or send it before reviewing fully.

  • I can't imagine it would be any different than a new gold mine opening up somewhere in the world.
