  • People who are religious in the end have faith because they are selfish. They will perpetuate a religious belief that overall creates a worse world for everyone living (wars, enforced ideology, etc) in the hopes that they can have an afterlife of bliss and excess.

  • According to google maps it's about 7200 miles to hit the east coast or 7800 miles to hit the west coast.

    So yeah technically closer but surprisingly close.

    Plus going for west coast is mostly over ocean or China so less US military bases that would maybe be able to intercept it.

  • Why has she not quit? She insists on spewing lies for the Trump administration?

    If she is getting threats now, does she think it will just stop one day?

    If Trump dies and the admin decides they want a new face, does she think they will show any loyalty to her? She will be kicked out on military housing the next day and then need to fend for herself as people still threaten her for all the bullshit she did.

  • There needs to be aovement in the US where literally NO ONE running for re-election gets voted back in.

    Replace EVERYONE in there at the moment. Even if you think your current person is the one good one, obviously they aren't effective enough.

    Doesn't matter the party, do not make it us vs them. Make it the people vs the government.

    Just make a movement to completely replace everyone and make it clear to them that if they do not listen, their jobs are not safe.

    Loved Netflix at first. I used to pirate a lot of tb shows and movies and then completely stopped once Netflix became decent.

    Then they turned to shit and I'm back to pirating.

    But not only that, I'm actually PAYING to pirate content because its a service that just combines all content from Netflix, Disney, apple, etc into one singular app that you can stream from any android device with the app.

    It can have pretty shit quality sometimes, but at least I can watch it.

    I will pay for shit if it's easy access.

    Fuck Netflix, Amazon, apple, Disney, etc. greedy fucks.

  • I don't think it's necessarily the text books that are the issue but rather the physical act of writing your own notes.

    I think it's that now people type all their notes into a laptop rather than write it down.

  • I tried cloud gaming briefly and gave up immediately.

    Fuck having to wait in a queue to play your games.

    I spent more time trying to figure out how to stream from my own gaming PC (to my TV) and it couldn't do it. How can you make a device that can stream games from a random PC but not one in the same room? Ah purposeful design to prevent that. Fuckers.

  • Yes I feel like many people misunderstand AI capabilities

    They think it somehow comes up with the best solution, when really it's more like lightning and takes the path of least resistance. It finds whatever works the fastest, if it even can without making it up and then lying that it works

    It by no means creates elegant and efficient solutions to anything

    AI is just a tool. You still need to know what you are doing to be able to tell if it's solution is worth anything and then you still will need to be able to adjust and tweak it

    It's most useful for being able to maybe give you an idea on how to do something by coming up with a method/solution you may not have known about or wouldn't have considered. Testing your own stuff as well is useful or having it make slight adjustments.

  • During school I would always type up my notes during class so I could get them down quickly but then during study after I would hand write the notes into my notebooks so that I could take the time to keep them organized and make sure it made sense.
