I don't want to have to know about kernel access side booting in dev mode. People like me are the primary user base for most devices.

  • Egregious overreach of patents is bullshit. Your idea should be protected, i.e. Pokemon. A concept shouldn't be copyright-able in the first place, i.e. "summoning a sub character to fight other sud characters."

  • The vast majority of Japanese horror doesn't seem to catch on outside of Japan. Sure, there's a few exceptions. But by and large their folklore and culture is "foreign" enough that horror(a niche genre in and of itself) from Japan can seem well.....unscary to someone say from America.

  • Go back to Reddit? This system stops witch hunts, effectively stops echo chambers from gaining traction, and helps protect against power tripping mods.

    Much like someone else told you, you can control what you see. If you don't see the trolls do they really exist for you? If you don't go looking for their "ghost" you won't find it

  • Blocking means you can't see them. It makes them non existent to you. It doesn't hide you from them. It's working as intended.

  • No, it isn't wrong to want to choose your friends based on your hobbies. It's healthy. Sure, you will need some flexibility. It can't all be your way all the time. But generally you want friends who enjoy the same activities and "things" you do. You want enough similarities to have stuff to do and talk about, but enough differences that you aren't just repeating the same things to each other.

    And as with most relationships, a small handful of great ones can sustain us for longer and more deeply than a deluge of shallow and circumstantial ones.

  • You're not alone. But we can't deny that there is a market for them. And if you're honest with us and yourself I'm sure you have an exception. Mine is Remnant. Loved From the Ashes and I put in a lot of time in the second one as well.
