  • Well, searching "bat butt" to see more was a mistake. There was only one relevant result, the rest is r34 stuff... and not in a good way.

  • I'm just happy there aren't any, or at least many, teens and kids here. Reading the comments on Reddit, YouTube and anywhere else where they are is a fucking fever dream of stupidity, ignorance and weirdness. It's mostly fine here, and it's a nice break.

  • In a beat boxing tone:

Beans 'n rice (repeat as many times as needed).

Also do pasta with tomato sauce a lot, add whatever I have or what I can find on sale (mostly lentils, beans, frozen vegetables (kinds that have protein)).

I've always loved lentils but I've kinda rediscovered them lately, it's crazy how good they are in every way. Cheap, somehow always makes more food than you think, easy to cook and extremely versatile, makes you feel full with less and keeps you going for longer. Truly a superfood IMO.

  • There's already a lot of Scrooby doo porn, both real (as in cosplay) and rule34, and I wouldn't be surprised if at least sime of it used those words. I'm not gonna look it up though, not my thing.

  • So many, it's generally how it goes for me as I mostly play one game at a time. But some that have REALLY made me dive deep and play many hours a day for long times: Halo 1, 2, 3 and Reach, Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, Minecraft, Terraria, Starbound, Satisfactory, Forza Horizon 4 and 5, Rocket League. There are many more, these are just what I thought of at the moment. And the one I still play a ton and see no end in sight is Warframe, such a good game, and both the community and the devs are awesome so even after getting 1,200 hours in two years I'm still giddy about it and have so much fun.

  • Ducks is bird.

  • One of these is not like the others (and it's not the bottom right one).

  • Mostly because American school is about brainwashing, which isn't the case for the vast majority of everywhere else.

  • I wouldn't describe myself as attractive, just not unattractive. And I've always gotten a lot of matches (with actual people). My social anxiety has been in the way of going further with it most of the time but it's always been easy to find a date almost immediately when I want. One thing I know helps is my clothing style, 60s-70s, and I recommend people to try to find a style that they like and use photos that show it.

  • Except that isn't shown at all. It shows him saying something crazy is happening while he's at it, it doesn't show or imply that she is refusing to believe him or to look back. The comic ends with him saying that, there is nothing about her not listening.

I don't understand how you came to that conclusion. You just decided that's the case even though it's 100% in your mind and nothing else.

  • Really? It's been widely reported. But Proton has spent a lot of time and money to get seen by users who wouldn't have heard about the negative stuff. Even here on Lemmy the amount of pro-proton posts has gone up a lot since the bad stuff came out, it's pretty blatant.

  • It should be H₂O 2 as in "Water 2". You wrote "2 hydrogen atoms and 2 oxygen atoms", which is hydrogen peroxide.

  • For me with gaming (both playing and dev), a Steam Deck. Never wanted anything more in my life, seeing people have them and barely use them hurts. But I'm on long-term sick leave and live paycheck to paycheck, not able to save anything and it doesn't look like that'll change anytime soon. And it's more than just wanting a cool thing, all I have is a shitty laptop from 2010 that barely plays 1080p video, and a TV I found outside that gets so warm that it's hard to sit in front of for longer than two hours at a time. The laptop has no battery so it has to be used with the charger connected all the time and it's too heavy to comfortably use anywhere but at a desk. I also have back and knee problems and having something like a Steam Deck would allow me to play and develop in bed or on my sofa and save me some pain.

  • Couldn't even get through one whole watch of Baby Driver, tried several times but cringe quit sometime before the midpoint every time.

  • Blade Runner

I'm surprised this hasn't been said already and would expect it to be one of the top comments.

  • "mistery"

    Seriously?

  • Very much not true for all. Some realise things over time, but most were born like they are. Some also do choose things, but it's a very small percentage and that in no way makes it any less important to accept and support.
