I've been getting medical treatment for several years for ADHD and various other psychiatric co-morbidities as well as some physical issues and my doctors' statements are the proof I need to receive "Erwerbsunfähigkeitsrente" (which I'd approximate in English as "pension due to inability to work for a living"). I'll probably, sometime in the near future, be required by the authority in charge to be examined by one of their doctors before they further approve my Rente.
