  • Yeah, I live more in the realm of having emptied my 401k twice after leaving different jobs because the only other option was homelessness. Have I made bad decisions in life, never intentionally.. but owning a home is being taken off the possibilities for me. At 36 it'll be years before I ever have 1000s in the bank, let alone the 20% of 400,000 or whatever a small house will cost in future. Shit they turned me down to get a car loan and buy a used Kia which left me with a broken down vehicle and losing my job because I couldn't transit 104 miles a day to the decent paying job I landed. So now I'm getting paid 1/3 to half of it on a job I found I can work from home. I'll make rent and food, but retirement is likely out of the picture.

  • Is that 16.9% unknown or libertarian, not sure if it's my color theme or the colors just being close

  • If someone asked how you identify a cult, this is pretty much it..

  • The fact that representatives knew this happened, and accepted basically "if you step down from taking your next roll, we'll ignore it". Shows how absolutely every representative that wasn't screaming about it should be in prison right now.... Which means near all reps in Florida, and many in U.S. Congress.

Also, token: Desantis absolutely allowed this to be covered up for political reasons/gain

  • Yeah, I've gotten 3 or 4 haircuts in the last 15 years that were from barbers. But I don't care as much about what others think I guess. I cut the sides with a single length, then the top with scissors or buzz it to a longer length if I'm lazy. The only tough part is getting the back straight, which you learn tricks for. I'm so not bothered by it at this point it is the only time I use selfie mode on my phone. Turn away from the sink mirror, selfie mode on and trim it carefully. Blend the top with scissors if needed, but really it isn't often needed for my hair.

Edit: that said, if your are worried and you have a spouse, friend, family member, cleaning the back up only takes 2 minutes of their time.

  • So just to make it clear though, dual sovereignty laws mean the Federal government could have and still could bring charges for being a sexual predator against him, and has not done so right? What a strange time we live in

  • Was this your word choice for trying to get people to work together? Demeaning someone for demeaning someone while demanding they work together might not be the best route either. But I agree we need to find ways to build bridges or else we will never be able to make things better. As for deporting people though, there are some harsh actions that may be needed. I'm not saying it is the best route but the next president arresting supreme Court judges for taking bribes, executing them for treason without due process could cause chaos. It could also help pass legislation that makes the president not immune to illegal acts as the supreme Court ruled. It would force the legislature to make abuse of powers and more restrictions on the executive branch which to be honest, needs to have its powers shrunk drastically. The point of a Republic is for the peoples representatives to be empowered to write legislation that helps advance/give opportunities to as many people as possible supposedly "equally", or at least fairly. But our executive branch having the ability to make executive orders completely undercuts all of that. If we don't do away with executive orders I think if an executive order is issued it should run side by side with an impeachment. Where then they are voted on by Congress and if half of Congress votes no confidence that it was completely necessary for the safety of the nation, the President is immediately removed. (Different rules than impeachment/removal) obviously

Aka, if there is an attack or something, they can make an executive order to respond before waiting for congress, but if congress feels it was misused, they are gone. No one should care who the president is, they should be a police officer in my mind. What they arrest someone for shouldn't be their choice, nor any punishment be their choice. If you are found to fake evidence it should also be viewed as treason. Which would make any party fight to do away with capital punishment pretty quick, because they won't want 7 members of their party getting the electric chair when they get caught up in lying to the public, like they do daily.

  • It's not "those who will be targeted," it's those who broke the law. How is it that a group can claim they should arrest and detain/deport people for filling out a piece of paper wrong 14 years ago that had nothing to do with fraud, embezzlement, or hurting anyone. Just trying to work a 9-5 and provide for their families, yet this group can turn around and support people who are openly admitting they have committed crimes and should commit more while asking others to commit crimes to stay out of prison in the future.

  • It's hard to speculate on things like that, but when he openly admitted to reporters that Epstein took girls from his spa, it means the investigation would have to be reviewing such

  • Oops... (Been sitting in meetings a lot today)

  • Yeah the only thing in the past 15 years that you use an ID to purchase at a grocery/gass station is alcohol, which he supposedly doesn't drink.

Unless maybe he's addicted to playing the lottery?

  • The articles of impeachment are the house, the removal is the Senate. Requires 2/3. It's why Trump was not removed during his 1st term. Impeached twice, and the Senate never voted to remove, the second time saying it was so close to the end it doesn't matter if we vote. (It did matter, he most likely wouldn't be president now if they had)

  • Voting isn't a constitutional right either, we haven't been able to get them to codify it yet.

  • Yeah, there was a time you would verify the cards weren't stolen. But that was usually store policies.

  • Enters person putting uncrustables in a slap chop. One slap, and your ready for the next sandwich. (I don't actually do this, but it does sound like it'd fit)

  • What was the statement?

  • Yeah but this is the Presidency sponsored by PayPal. They've been dodging responsibility and claiming other people's money is theirs for years. They just went directly to the Treasury to do it now.

  • I say they amend the constitution to make it 1/4 vote congress impeach, 1/3 vote removes. VP is not picked by President, it is the second most votes like when the country started. Then you put oversight committees on every executive organization and they answer directly to congress. Get rid of "executive powers" that come from declaring emergencies and etc. So impeaching president puts the VP (most likely their running opponent). Then the 3rd votes goes to VP and an emergency vote is taken place, to put a new Senate backup.

Or I've said before: dissolve the executive branch, and place all of the organizations under the legislature, and make a 3rd party review committee that evaluates if legislation, and judicial is being created to overpower the judicial branch or corrupt. And all organizations under the executive answer directly to congress.

Or, dissolve the Senate and the Executive... Place everything under Congress, expand the supreme Court to 50 judges one from each state. (Still would need some oversight)

But the idea is to make it so population of individuals is easily defeated, and we don't have giant stupid news buyouts every 4 years to make 1 position something it was never meant to me. If you don't want a king, kill the position

  • "sound the alarm", horseshit. Just file the articles of impeachment and make the senators vote openly that they believe the executive branch ignoring a court order is okay. Senators should have to openly say it's okay to not remove someone for not following the rules /"laws" of the republic. Then as Trump keeps fucking everything up the Senators will have to realize either A. They are willing to surrender their job/career/ country to back a tryant,or B. They need to jump ship.

If its fine to not listen to the courts, then there is no reason for congress to exist. Their job is to write legislation that the courts ensure breakers of that legislation are punished.

They should have done so on many other occasions, but their failures are only adding up.
