  • Maybe he just weighed the ups/downs for the moment. He didn't have the bot farms up trying to convince people to vote for Trump and sway public opinion anymore maybe. Maybe he made the call that exposing accounts and introducing the idea he can expose them a threat to any political upstarts wanting to take the next monarchy grasp. He can expose the accounts he wants, while spending less money having to combat any political opposition that may want to run similar campaign tactics that they used.

    There are members who wanted to go further into "America first" bologna, maybe he realized that won't be beneficial for him long term finally

    The medicine they use isn't expensive to mass produce either. Had a coworker in college who's family ran a cow farm, and she told me to stop paying so much for heart guard... As they essentially just adjust dosages by weight of the same product for cows for pennies on the dollar..... Which I wouldconsult a professional before doing, but if it is fine for our pets, and the animals we eat, I can't imagine we couldn't mass produce a cheap alternative for humans as well.

  • My perception was that he gave him a display to view his encyclopedia. Professor Oak hadn't logged any Pokemon yet, but then when you threw a PokeBall the Pokemon was transported into the storage somewhere, Professor Oak would study the Pokemon and make the data available to Ash. The issue with my line of thinking is that the transported Pokemon being stored don't get healed over time, so Professor Oak is like huh, that's Pikachu is fucked up, oh well I already studied it so no point in caring about it at all.

  • I tried switching to gin and tonics at one point, and they are good, but I ended up looking up how many calories I might be saving, and realized a g/t had the same amount of calories as a rum and coke.

    I hadn't realized there was sugar content like that in tonic. But I did get a nice dance with a friendly brunette while drinking a g/t. Come to think of it that may be the only reason I was drinking g/t's...

  • Don't think that is what it is about, I think what it means is unless you come from a family who can afford to assist you financially when you are going to a good nursing school, you won't be able to complete it using loans made available for a "non-prefessional" trade. Maybe I read that wrong but it sounds like if you need over 100k loans to finish nursing school (maybe some students start going for nursing and then probably proceed to doctorates I assume) basically making it so if you come from a poor background but get good grades and qualify academically, you will hit ceilings of where you can go to school based off income.

    Hopefully someone can point out if I am misunderstanding that.

    Edit: maybe it's the iron dome Trump wanted, strengthening the glass ceiling to am iron dome that the poor can't penetrate easily, and those above it can operate as "greaters" above the laws and above their true peers. Class war

  • My wonders are around how this will effect the video software market in say 10 years. In 2010 if you said you wanted to get into video editing I would have said I dnt know much but people swear by professional tools developes for Mac os x.

    If Mac Pros go aways, professional software wouldn't be used by big industry, but rather just hobbyists... Which to me seems like the death of video editing long term on Mac.

  • Some of that may also be that the secret service doesn't allow for to much non "closely controlled" environments. Not sure exactly how that works, but I assume you have to let them know where you are going to be in advance and they figure out who is going to be there and set perimeter and everything else, which if you are nervous I imagine you fall into a "I should prepare for this interview" having hours/possibly days to do so.

  • Let's be honest though, even if she had acted normal but now opposed him, he'd still act indecent and she'd get threats.

    I'll never agree with Pence's views, but overall we can say he acted "decent" (while be a fn wanker) and we saw where that got him. Still wish we could have seen him forced to testify about what information came to his knowledge for the fake electors.

  • It was absolutely ridiculous he pardoned his family and shit, but it was absolutely necessary because the person entering office had campaigned on trying to arrest them on anything and everything without ever being able to show any proof or solid claims about what they were trying to arrest any of them for. Biden would have been an idiot not to do the pardons. But the real key was Biden trying to get congress to put it in writing that a president wasn't immune from prosecution for acts performed as president. He wasn't choosing the wording, congress was supposed to legislate it... Yet they didn't want too, which says to me that there was a lot of members in Congress that wanted a king.

  • Yeah, I live more in the realm of having emptied my 401k twice after leaving different jobs because the only other option was homelessness. Have I made bad decisions in life, never intentionally.. but owning a home is being taken off the possibilities for me. At 36 it'll be years before I ever have 1000s in the bank, let alone the 20% of 400,000 or whatever a small house will cost in future. Shit they turned me down to get a car loan and buy a used Kia which left me with a broken down vehicle and losing my job because I couldn't transit 104 miles a day to the decent paying job I landed. So now I'm getting paid 1/3 to half of it on a job I found I can work from home. I'll make rent and food, but retirement is likely out of the picture.
