  • Submits request to inquire/study how the higher salinity in the water will effect the health of local organisms.

Proposal includes a test control group where you feed/water half our waddle with krill, fish, and the occasional squid sourced from closer to the equator and the other half with the same locally sourced. You can do tests every so often to verify the impacts upon our bodily systems and see if our glands can filter out the increased salt.

*Hopefully we get free food out of this

  • People complaining here that security was to lax, people complaining in the next thread that the libre dev is the victim because security was to high.

Is it possible to get both balanced, yes. But it will never make everyone happy.

  • It sucks for those people, but everyone should expect anything they say online to be possibly tied back to them. Secrets and identification information don't mix. Especially online. The good news is that there is no evidence any of it is real, anyone can lie on the site saying whatever they want, so if doxed someone can just say they were bored and wanted to fit in and see what others were discussing or such. Hopefully for them it doesn't turn into people getting hurt for talking behind someone's back like it often does offline.

  • Dick Cheney never campaigned with Harris either. When someone asked Cheney who he was voting for he said Harris, and Harris said thank you. He never went on any kind of tour, or held rallies or anything to get support for the Democrats, he was just a person responding with his opinion. The fact that people know he's done shit things just made people jump on Harris because she said thank you rather than ignoring it. To her it probably seemed reasonable to say hey, even staunch Republicans are seeing this next regime as a threat. But of course that backfired

  • Might be smarter.. wonder if

  • I wonder how much you could Jerry rig up Wimax for these days. That's like 30 miles of range. I remember thinking if I was only going within a 15 mile area of my place it would have been cool, but prices 10 years ago immediately made it a no.

Edit: like it sounds dumb, but what prevents someone from picking up a used Wimax base station, putting it as an uplink from their router, then using a Wimax card to receive it? Could even maybe just rig up a small rechargable wifi box, that received the Wimax signal, then rebroadcasts it back out as wifi using your home network name/password. So anywhere near your home the antenna would just pick it up and rebroadcast, maybe just hook it to your cigarette lighter to charge so anytime your in the car it's on. I assume most people would find it easier/cheaper to just buy a cellular card.. haha. But hypothetically, I am curious what would make it not work

  • It has to at least fall under this:

"§1001. Statements or entries generally Whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States knowingly and willfully falsifies, conceals or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact, or makes any false, fictitious or fraudulent statements or representations, or makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any false, fictitious or fraudulent statement or entry, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

  • 10% of them saying it was wrong is the best we'll get. Him being charged with treason is what it should be

  • See these are all good suggestions, but with what little I know about Colorado your best bet is to challenge them to a fist fight during a hockey match and winner designs the park.

You could even sell tickets and raise money for the reconstruction. Lol

  • I like that homeboy was just like "Have a safe ride" and dude responds " we will" or some shit. Like you (tesla) just stuck us in the middle of an intersection making an illegal turn after missing where to pick us up by a block and we've been in the car for less than a minute. Don't tell us to have a safe trip, promise me we are going to get somewhere safely at that point.

  • A dating app where you sit down and chat while playing black Jack and making bets before deciding if you're going to meet up, somehow that actually sounds more pleasant than what people have told me in their experiences on current sites.

  • Alternative solution, block off the road to get ready for construction. Then realize it's nice not having that road there, and get rid of it. Money saved and it's nicer.

  • Imagine if we could dock a weeks pay for them going home...

  • Much more likely the murder was something else. Out of the 387 murders in NYC in 2024, 312 of them were men.

So that's about 4 out of 5 murders being men/boys

Women are a lot more likely to be murdered than men by their domestic partner, but men are far more likely to be murdered on the street.

  • If Washington is supposed to be the capital of the U.S., Red White and Blue makes sense to be their colors. The Washington Sentinels had it right.

  • Everyone would actually remember they are from D.C. and not the state of Washington if you called them that.

Edit for fun fact: Washington D.C. is more than 300km closer to the equator, than it is to the capital of Washington.
