  • Buy a TV and crack the LCD, the new LCD will cost 90% of the price, and then you need to throw in labor. Let's say $100. That'll cover an hour of their time and the shops time because they first have to verify the model, talk to a vendor, get it shipped, then install it and deal with the drop off holding contacting you for pick up and payment processing. After paying the workers, maybe they made $50 off that repair if they are always busy. If a part is DOA, more costs. Total it all up and realize you spent $550 to repair a TV that is on sale with a 1 year warranty for $499 at Walmart with no waiting.

Assembly lines make things cheap, especially if the labor is cheap

  • Epstein's large investment they found recently was into Peter Theil's company. The guy who funded Trump's running mate and comes from PayPal money with Musk.

    No connections though I'm sure

  • Used science to make a meme, people upset. Repost someone else's content, happy. I see a lot of depression in our futures.

  • I mean the Navy did ask for the mafias help monitoring the fishing routes and docks up the east coast during world war 2 to monitor for German vessels bringing fuel back to submarines and such. Believe they asked Jewish gangs for help as well to break up NAZI sympathizer groups and monitor worker unions. Hard to say what may have actually been happening though. We can say for sure they commuted a Mafia members sentence and deported him back to Italy right after the war ended.

  • Was curious so I tried to find historical Oxygen levels by century (didn't find that). With the current oxygen level being around 20.9% and decreasing to effectively 17% around a mile in altitude, (say Denver) we adapt to 4% oxygen level without death. So if dinosaurs are similar in breathing to humans, I'd say with no scientific backing beyond just speculation, they should be fine.

  • I think that has a lot of variables. Crocodiles were on earth around 250 million years ago, the t rex around 68 million years ago. Crocodiles still breath our atmosphere.

That doesn't mean other animals didn't have different breathing parameters though.

  • My parents used to get together with another couple almost every weekend and sit down and either play sequence, rummy, hand & foot or something along those lines. Easy way to sit down once a week, have a drink or two and just talk with your friends, no TVs, phones or etc were ever on.

Wish I lived near a friend group that was able to do that. They started hanging out doing similar around 1980 and kept it up till 2017 or so. (Was the same 2 friends, they both moved 1200 miles across the country) and made sure they lived a few blocks away during that time.

  • Hey now, I pirated my Thinkpad thank you very much. Needed to make sure I stuck to my third cult.

  • The point to me is to not bring traffic to the site. If he was using data from there it cuts out the viewershop numbers and reduces income they would other gather.

Just because you believe he's a NAZI, doesn't mean everyone on twitter does.

  • Wow, what a nut job. He starts by trying to say maybe Epstein worked for the CIA and was trying to get blackmail on foreign officials for our government. Sir, even if that were true, you should want every member of the CIA using children as rape bait for blackmail in prison. (And the people showing up to use said services.. you know.. the guy your trying to defend)

  • Unfortunately no. Wish there was

  • Shows up and brings food. Two good qualities off the bat.

  • If I could go to the store and bring small mason jars with me when I needed more spices and fill them from a dispenser, use say a commercial vacuum sealer for the lid then throw them in the cupboard and refill small jars like this with a cork and reseal the jars at home I'd probably think these were a nice aesthetic. Rack hanging on the back splash with all the different spices and just refill them all when needed without wasting more and more plastic bottles or one time use grinders that we replace soon as they are empty. I understand singular people's waste is a tiny fraction of the waste created by companies... But I still feel bad any time I throw away a zip lock bag. I've gotten to the point that I just flip them inside out and rinse them out or wash them and leave them to dry so I can reuse them. Next day throw them back in a drawer sorted by usecase.

  • When Superman came to earth Trump wasn't born yet right? He had FDR

  • So you believe some people who found a baby in the middle of no where and decided to raise/adopt him picked up a hologram made of alien tech unlike anything seen on earth before and were going to bring that to the government to say we know who his parents are? Kid would go to a gov facility for infinite tests and the Kent's would be institutionalized or disappeared because everyone would have thought they were nuts in the psych ward. No way they'd know the kid was going to fly, shoot laser beams and be impervious to weapons.

  • The Amazonians are from Earth, so Wonder Woman likely never had one

  • Well he's an Alien who is an American citizen more than likely.

Foundlings aren't directly mentioned in the laws but if a child is found in the U.S. and you can't find the parents, it is assumed to have been born here. And thereby a citizen by the 14th Amendment.

Unless someone could prove who his parents were and where they were born, until that time I don't think they would have grounds to revoke the citizenship
