If you live in the U.S. you do them quite often, multiply by 2. Want 10 multiply by .1... Half that and add it if you want 15. Whatever is easiest at that moment
Yeah I grew up in Central Florida years ago, but didn't know much of what a lynx looked like so I just assumed similar to a bobcat, haha. There used to be a camping spot called camp cozy 2 or 3 miles down the trail that was a half mile from any other campsite. Would go out there whenever I could get a work group together, but seeing wildlife was common. You'd get black bears standing on their hind legs hiding behind trees to peak at your campsite and figure out what's going on. Also when it's hot and muggy, the springs feel cold as all hell so it's a great relief.
Apparently the North American Jaguar went extinct like 7000 years ago. So now it's just Florida Panthers (puma as you said) and bobcats, which I think might be lynx related? Not sure. I know I used to see those down in wekiwa near the springs/hiking trails.

Are you talking about a system where we would have submitted our bills that need to be paid monthly and the government essentially paid those minimum payments until the go back to work things occurred? That would have helped a lot of people if so, but a lot of people can be manipulated quickly to not like anyone they don't know, so I imagine that would be extremely hard to pass. "Well Steve filled his credit cards doing stupid shit, why should he be receiving so much when I don't get anything more because I was "responsible". If there was a way to freeze the majority of all new credit being used during the pandemic that would have been a great solution maybe. I just don't think we can get people to care about others hardships, rather than blame others for hardships.
Well the alternative according to the news was from fixing the economy. With no plans of how they would fix the economy. They went from Obama voters to Trump voters. So it wasn't complete racism. Although my dad never said anything racist until Trump ran for president the second time. Fox and such did a great job at teaching hatred. Having a hardship, they gave you someone to hate. Anyone's fault but the people syphoning up the money out of your reach.

Yeah but that's not because the majority of people wanted a dictator, it's because they are gullible. Both my parents (64) would say it was all exaggerations and he never said he wanted to be a dictator. He just says things to upset people. Why did they think that, because the news channels perpetuated misinformation every night at 9pm 10 pm, 11pm, which ever one they watched before bed... And still are.
September 25th, 2024 a poll came out showing 4% of the population viewed project 2025 in a good light. Only 7% of Republicans viewed it in a good light.
That means to me that 93% of Republicans did not know what they were voting for other than the "feelings" that were being fed to them on the news. At that point 4 states had already oppened early voting, and Illinois opened the next day. If they were voting for 100% tarrifs on China, clearly they didn't know how tarrifs worked.
I think the majority voted out of anger and fear which is what the Republican platform ran on. And the Democrats ran a platform of reactionary anger and fear of what Trump did and would do.
Not every Republican voter was evil, but Democrats did a good job at pushing that type of narrative which helped lock everyone in camps. That also probably hurt the Democrats because if 5% of the population said, my partner/spouse or whatever isn't evil, those people must clearly be exaggerating, and their partner is pointing that out... It becomes easier to believe rather quickly.
A lot of emotions got/get stirred up around how bad out politicians are and the media is there pouring gasoline on the fire the whole time to make profits.
I think the truth is if there was a legitimate vote tomorrow not between candidates, but a simple do you want Trump to be a dictator, we would see 90% of the population vote no.

2 he should be saying our counties legislative system will make the Dali's insurance pay for the damages and/or ask Congress to set laws that restrict any shipping vessel large enough to cause such damages carry insurance that can pay for the full extent of their damages or they aren't able to ship to our ports.
That would up shipping costs, sure. But isn't that what his administration wants, less international trade and forcing the country to become less dependent on foreign countries?
Oops oil, coal, gas costs went up, and long term it yet again would be cheaper for local renewable energy. As 40% of shipping is just bringing oil/coal/gas from one port to another. When the solar panels are in your state, county, city, neighborhood, or on your property, "shipping costs" drop drastically.
Someone crashed into a power line, entire blocks/neighborhoods could go down, except if those solar panels are on your roof, maybe just switch to your batteries and have localized power till the power comes back on, then switch it back to the grid. Tornado destroys 5 houses, bring what you need to your neighbors after and still have a refrigerator and air conditioning while you sort out what to do next in heat that's only getting worse.
The people who think that people aren't accelerating global warming still usually accept the idea that the planet is getting warmer.
Wars aren't ended with treaties all the time though. For instance North/South Korea haven't signed anything. Russia and Japan never signed anything after world war 2. I would say Russia signed the Minsk Agreements with Ukraine, but clearly that war is ongoing. China and Taiwan haven't signed anything which is ongoing. The U.S. never declared war on Afghanistan or Iraq, so their was never real peace treaties, but rather peace agreements I guess.
I think the question in the 21st century might be, what is war? What is the scope that defines it, and who has to recognize it for it to "exist.". Is Israel at war with Palestine, Serbia, Yemen, Iran? Was Iran at war with India? Is India at war with China? What is a cold war, and is the U.S. thus still at war with Russia and Iran seperately or together now?
What the hell do we call the U.S.'s operations that have taken place either directly, indirectly, or covertly in South America... And are all countries inevitably at war so long as their economies are clashing within a capitalistic structure with finite resources.
To define peace, we may need to first define war, or vise versa

How it may happen: Nvidia and AMD get restrictions on selling to China (already happening, but discussed more in the past weeks before this announcement) and can't sell their best. Intel may be allowed to sell their newest tech to get a competitive edge which will even the playing field, or Nvidia and AMD can be told if they want an even playing field they must sell portions of their company to the U.S. government as well.

What's lockdown mode. I use PIA because it was cheap about 5 years ago and never had any issues so I havent shopped around. I don't have a dedicated IP which I would have liked, they offer them but I haven't convinced myself I need it yet. I figure if anyone else (not family) needs to access a site that points to my IP I'll do it then.
Maybe I haven't been understanding/using caddy and such properly, but how do you really get multiple servers running without 80/443 not having overlap. Like right now I have 53 for my Pihole internally, 8096 Jellyfin, 3923 for a file server, can't remember what my RustDesk server is on, but I wanted to set up a Piefed instance, and obviously I'm running into issues with ports overlapping because I must not be understanding how to forward / reverse proxy them properly.
Do you set up caddy on your individual VM's and use a separate IP for each. Can I just tie a URL from NOIP to a specific port outside of 80/443 somehow?
Do you not run into issues doing this? I'm constantly having to split my VPN or disable my VPN for certain logins to work, such as banks, government sites and shit.
Yeah, the law pertaining to not holding elections during martial law in Ukraine was created during another person's presidency as well. He didn't make that. (It stemmed from Russias invasion into Ukraine in 2014, law made in 2015). Zelensky didn't become president until 2019.
For me I notice if I have less than 3500 steps a day type of activity I get extremely lazy and just start accepting procrastination on things. The lawn can be cut next week, the dish I ate off of can wait till morning. Going to the store sounds like a chore.
When I'm averaging around 20,000 steps a day I want to get more done, so I'll do that stuff quicker.
There is usually more mental stuff tied to it, like if I'm happy with my job, I get way more done at home. When I was working 50+ hour weeks but enjoyed it I cooked twice a day, cleaned everything daily, hell at one point I vaccumed the house 3x per week and cleaned my carpets every weekend. When I'm not happy at work or not working I just don't want to do anything, and I'll go months without vacuuming because what's the point.
Sidenote: if you use a carpet cleaner to often, its not good for the carpets, so find better activities
I think the odds for scratch offs legally have to be listed on the back of the card as well. So if you buy one it'll say 1:4.25 or whatever the odds are on the back. But still you will likely win the value of another ticket or such.
Anyone half way logical knows the company is winning, because they are also forced to pay out part of their winnings to things like scholarships. But people just like gambling. I remember walking into a bar and watching a lady doing scratch off after scratch off drinking at the bar smoking cigarettes. 1 after another, for hours apparently. I remember sitting there by myself wondering how anyone could afford it, but apparently that's what she did several days a week. Day drinkers like that are either fun, or another kind of crazy
