  • I will never understand why video games want these effects in them. Am I playing as a fucking camera? The only games where these lens effects make any sense is like a cyberpunk game where you have robot eyes or you're actually watching through a camera.

    Real eyes don't get lens flares. Real eyes don't see chromatic aberration. Or film grain. Or have vignettes. Real eyes realize real lies.

  • Afaik the only thing you really need to worry about is the possibility of save corruption if the power supply is interrupted during sleep mode (IE your house loses power or you unplug the console).

  • I mean, that's generally the answer but how do they gain here? Again, since it requires both GTA 4 and 5, wouldn't it be more likely to drive sales of both from people wanting to play the mod, thus giving Cockstar more revenue? At least Nintendo's inane BS makes sense, trying to stop emulation because you "need" emulators to play pirated Nintendo games. Taking down this mod, or the VR mods, doesn't make a lick of sense.

  • Getting rid of those intro logos and stuff is one of the first things I look up how to do when installing a new PC game. I do love the PS5 sleep where I can literally just keep the game running and instantly go back to where I left it as if I had the console "on" the whole time; but it's only good if I'm wanting to play that same game and not jump to something else.

  • Sometimes I feel like the dude who has given up sitting at the Bonfire Shrine bonfire, and other times I feel like Igon as he's wailing on the mountain side. Never had a good job, and I haven't been able to stick around longer than a year or two before the bullshit gets to me and I either make a mistake getting frustrated and get fired or quit because I can't take it anymore. I don't fit in anywhere, I don't feel comfortable anywhere, and it's hard to tell what is truly toxic, or what's just my own shit because I have BPD, ADHD and am on the spectrum.

    But what alignment are you if you use those colored tabs to bookmark several things at once? Those are what I've used most often because that's for work shit... Like research and what not. I don't need to keep my place, I need to know what I might be referencing a lot.

  • What is the legal reasoning for this? From what I've read about this mod, you have to already own both GTA 4 and 5, kinda like the Tale of Two Wastelands mod for Fallout 4, so it's not like they were redistributing files they don't own.
