  • I have been pleasantly but consistently surprised by the number of times the courts have sided against Trump, given his number of nominations in his first and current terms.

    Even the stacked SCOTUS seems to be 50:50 at times, though they're very shortsighted for gutting the Voting Rights Act which could lead to all of them being purged at some point.

  • So, CalyxOS is currently attempting an AOSP 16 update but the AOSP 17 update is releasing and it is already out of date, so NOT THAT.

    GrapheneOS is more up to date but only supports Pixel phones AFAIK.

    Linux is going to be your best bet. PostmarketOS supports 735 devices but alas it might(?) not support the a35 as only the a3, a30, a32, and a40 are listed from what I saw.

  • I won't say the reflective pool is an easy task, the water is not treated at all, and it has been plagued with things like leaks and snail infestations for its entire history, but the fact that Trump's admin with all the presidential authority and assets is the first to ever fail to handle it to this extent is certainly telling.

    I have no such hopes that it will decrease Cuba's hostile militant designation as a Chinese proxy, nor that it will help any Cuban citizens individual rights, but that is second to aversion of conflict.

  • Idk anything about that site nor what your country's laws are, but technically downloading stolen software is legal under US Antipiracy Law.

    The only thing that is illegal is widely distributing pirated contents, such as hosting said sites.

    EDIT: Because this is specifically about the NYC election and not any broader "democratic leadership" which is weird because Mamdani is among the ranks of democratic leadership in NYC.
