  • Yeah totes wish I was getting locked up and watching the company I hated was hiring a new profit-focused CEO to continue its rollout of AI-powered claim review denying claims in record high amounts.

    Sooo jelly

    /s

  • Saxton Hale.

  • The guy who killed a dude to accomplish no changes in the system he opposed and then went to prison for life?

Nah, I think he'd be on the other side of the chart.

  • Oh! Another big one would be Threads users. Some instances completely block FaceBook Threads.

  • Get in the fucking robot!

  • No shit, the GOP are acting as his arms, legs, and asshole.

Just a short while ago they gave back ICE funding that the DNC cut off since February.

  • EDIT: You're clearly confused. I am on Piefed not Lemmy.

Oh, we're far from powerless. The quarantine of the Tankie Triad has been very successful, as will the move to Piefed.

Because people like me speak up, because the instance admins are aware of the problem and willing to make the needed changes.

  • Some instances intentionally filter out votes such as non-humans, fuckin nazis, and also fuckin Tankies, so I expect at least a little variance in numbers.

  • Tankies wish us all immediate harm, I will never tolerate them.

From Russia's war in Ukraine to China helping reelect Donald Trump, they are evil to their core.

  • Almost all Lemmy instances throw up a seasonal banner begging users to fund tankies like Dessalines and the ML instance.

Because the Lemmy platform is developed by those Tankies and they push it in updates.

Piefed has been around for a while now, there is no longer a good reason to stay on Lemmy.

  • Honestly all the Lemmy instances could shut off permanently tomorrow and I would be cool with that. Fuck those tankies on ML.

  • Ah, yet more of the age verification nonsense.

To me it doesn't even seem like any sort of thought control or censorship, they just want an excuse to sell people's IDs to train AI on.

  • All the more reason to link to them directly.

  • Wikipedia still isn't a reliable source, you have to locate the point of your argument and then find the listed source in the citations on the Wikipedia page.

Wikipedia is a great place to find sources, but not as a soruce.

  • Good to see people calling this shit out.

The USA has no centralized education standards or curriculum outside of "incentive" programs such as standardized testing which rewards funds to participating schools.

The result is stuff like this has flown under the radar for too damn long.

  • The last year that I ran Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC was plagued with BSODs, poorly optimized nVidia drivers, hour long startup times, and at the end it was failing to install the regularly scheduled security update so I actually left ahead of schedule.

It was difficult to get my drawing tablet and my perpetual licensed version of Clip Studio running on Linux but I was able to figure it out.

    I use arch, btw.

  • There are a lot more car brands in Europe than most regions so generalizations are a bit less useful. I wonder who the outliers would be?

  • Good. May whoever wins the primary also win the General. Colorado conservatives are heavily anti-tax so i don't expect either progressive to win any votes from the opposition.

  • Unironically, though. The major models are from China and the USA, neither of which are well known for a history of racial harmony.

  • I have been pleasantly but consistently surprised by the number of times the courts have sided against Trump, given his number of nominations in his first and current terms.

Even the stacked SCOTUS seems to be 50:50 at times, though they're very shortsighted for gutting the Voting Rights Act which could lead to all of them being purged at some point.
