A little of many, and a lot of a few.Probably pretty similar to you.

  • Can confirm that enough magic mushrooms will cause you to see and feel god.

  • Makes dying a lot more comfortable when one realizes its another illusion.

  • Locally hosted LLMs are a better option, but it doesn't change the fact that the technology is designed outright to give a statistically likely result (based on the training data), instead of a correct one. LLMs make "guesses" about what the output should be and are not capable of internal regulation. They do not understand concepts and merely regurgitate jumbled data back at you with no consideration for content beyond that what can be analyzed statistically. It's not a question of if they will make a mistake, but where and when.

  • Its a buzz term they've been using to obfuscate the fact that every piece of LLM slop needs a human to review it, thus costing more time and money than hiring a competent human straight out.

  • I seem stuck using nalgenes. They're not great. I tried switching to glass carafes but it didn’t work out. The metalic lids would rust out on to the lip and could not be cleaned. The nalgenes are durable(ish) and versatile which keeps me stuck on em. 1 liter is the perfect amount of water, the loop on the top is a nice low key handle, and they're water tight as anything, even when the threads have been smashed. Just forget about the microplastics.

  • Better not to ask, and just bring the void treats as a surprise.

  • HUH?!! WHATS THAT? I CANT HEAR YOU OUT OF THE BLOOD IN MY EARS.

  • Can I be on it?? ❤️❤️❤️❤️🫣

  • You can’t out-reason an idiot.

  • These stargazers have a little more than just wanderlust huh.

  • Ive had tinnitus throughout my living memory. Unsure if it’s because I was a loud child or something inherent to my physiology. Maybe having no memory of perfectly crisp hearing makes it easier to forget, but I can’t say that it has truly affected my quality of life. I can still sing in a choir and listen to jazz. Mine might be a milder case, I have no way of knowing, but please don’t allow it to keep you from doing what you enjoy.

  • GASP. Who? Me? What? I? (Maybe) would never.

  • Its just cholulah, its my go to for good flavor and medium heat.

  • The human race is not capable of terraforming another planet, we can’t even fix the climate of our very nearly perfect planet.

  • I just put it on top of the rice last second. Usually i put horseradish in my mac and cheese, works great there.

  • I haven't noticed a prevalence of that there. Checking it just now I can't find a single example of misandry. Maybe you are just misreading the vibe.

  • Yeah that checks out. I looked up that 3500 calorie number after I said that and realised I had underestimated. But hiking 10-15 miles in appalachia with a thirty pound pack on a 1500 calorie diet (yeah I just brought nuts and a freeze dried meal for each day) would actually be closer to a 4k calorie deficit a day. It might have been less than 8 pounds too, depending on conditions when I weighed before and after. Your body weight can change a few pounds in a day just based on how much you've consumed and haven't ejected yet.

  • Ive been sleeping with a noise maker (the kind that blows air through holes) my entire life. Ive noticed I get deeper sleep in silence though, it just takes too long to fall asleep without the white noise.

  • More than half the reason I ever get any exercise at all is in service of my mental health.
