I don't read DMs.

  • My mom made this occasionally. I liked it. I've never made it myself, though.

My mom made something we called simply "beans and hamburger", and that's pretty much all it was, but the devil is in the details, and I gave up many years ago trying to duplicate it. By the time I thought to ask my mom how she made it, she had forgotten all about it due to Alzheimer's.

Special food can resurface long buried memories as clear as the day they were lived. Odors can do the same.

  • We should be able to expect that no one has the right to delete anything off our owned hard drive, or by any action make that data unusable for the purpose it was designed and sold for, without our permission.

    That should be our right.

  • We need term limits for Congress.

  • I looked into what it would take for me to grow tomatoes here in NM, and decided against it.

  • Software engineer lays out one of life's lessons. Most people figure this out eventually.

  • As much as I'd like better produce, I'm not driving another 1.5 hours round trip to get to the store with the better produce. Not everyone has easy options.

I get frozen berries, and they're always fine.

  • In the U.S., we bread and deep-fry everything.

  • I see regulation coming for these things very soon. Most people hate them.

  • They've sold something like 10 million of these things, probably more.

We can do something about it. The same way we shut down google glass, make them socially unacceptable. Ridicule anyone you know who owns a pair, loudly point them out when you see them in public, etc. Bring back "glasshole".

  • I'll take the dry heat of a desert before the cold. But, I'll take the cold before humid heat. It's humidity that drives me nuts.

  • I "discovered" this show, watched it, forgot about it, discovered it again, and rewatched it.

Terrific show. Might want to watch it again, hmm.

  • Oh shit! I didn't know that, cool!

  • I'm in the middle of You're the Worst. Good show, different from what I'm used to. Aya Cash is wonderful.

  • Spaceballs: The New One might get me back into the theater. I haven't been in a theater since Deadpool.

  • ... that the people want done.

  • Seems like Ferrari would know what a Ferrari looks like. I mean, everyone else does.

  • I liked Into the Night, but they ditch the plane at the end, so I didn't even check if there is a second season.

  • I'll throw a couple of old, fun ones in I doubt anyone mentioned.

    Dead Like Me

    Pushing Daisies

  • Good show. Fun concept. Stars Bob Odenkirk. Just go watch it.

You wonder at first whether it would have been better as live action instead of animated, but it becomes clear why they went with animated.

  • Deadwood stars Ian McShane, 'nuff said.
