I don't read DMs.

  • Carrots are underappreciated.

  • Ha! Cornered the POS.

  • International law is mostly honor system, no?

Did the law somehow change to allow them to now charge fees? Or, were they playing nice by following a law that has no real enforcement behind it? What will we do? Sanction them?

The war didn't start because they were charging fees, they weren't. They started charging fees because of the war.

"Playing nice" is a good way to describe it.

  • There's a short downward slope at the peak, and then it just drops straight down. Assuming you don't just die at your desk at work.

  • I'm surprised they didn't before. Did they? Seems like they were playing nice until Dickless Donald fucked everything up.

I do wonder if the oligarchs would even allow Donald to run again, if he tried. I think not.

  • I disabled watch history and the default front page is blank for me-tells me to enable watch history. The only place I see recommended videos now is the side bar that shows on the video watch page, which are more relevant than the default home page.

I only watch on desktop, it might be different on phone.

  • I'm glad they do this so I know to avoid their channel. I know their content is likely not something I'm interested in spending my time viewing when I see the thumbnail following whatever the current trend is.

I'm not too interested in the fluffy stuff. But on the occasions I am, it's easy to find.

For instance, sometimes I like to watch travel vlogs. I avoid the ones that have thumbnails showing the face of the vlogger in every thumbnail, with just one exception, Dale Philip. He also has the most subscribers of anyone I'm subscribed to, by far.

  • The battery can be trickle charged with a $15 device if needed. Those other things are not an issue over just five weeks.

  • That's not enough to replace the utility of a car for most people in LA.

  • The internet allows people in small minority groups to gather virtually and speak loudly as one. Be they trans people or fucking idiots.

I think what surprised us all is just how many fucking idiots there are. I mean, before the internet, there was always one or maybe two in a social group the other's needed to keep in check. They were dispersed somewhat evenly throughout society. But, now, they just find each other online and there's no one nearby to watch over them, or tell them they're stupid and to shut up.

  • As much as they want to "pwn the libtards", they just can't afford to.

  • I'd like to see the clips, but I bailed on FB many years ago.

  • Fine, but self-awareness comes in stages. Learning to recognize that others are scamming them is an easier step than recognizing that they're scummy.

  • Someone is "thirsty" for sex. A woman (or a broad approximation there of) exploits that thirst, hence "trap".

The "woman" is the thirst trap. Woman is in quotes, because it's almost always not a woman, but a bot, or one of many accounts run by scammers.

  • Depends on the advice. If they're talking about their mistakes, that can be informative. But, if they discuss their mistakes and then say "... and this is what you should do, instead", that's just unproven speculation on their part.

But, at the end of the day, relationship advice is mostly useless, because only the most general advice works for everyone. The specific issues between two, complex people can't be understood and advised for by listening to one side of the story for a few minutes.

  • I take solace in this is the top comment, at least.

It's frightening that many people are fine with this sort of invasion of privacy as long as the reason is "good enough". This is a knee-jerk, uneducated response that only makes sense to the ignorant. I also expect they're young, and spent more time looking at their phone than paying attention in class.

Do you expect, or even hope to die alone?

I like my Rii K06 keyboard. I have one small problem I'm hoping for some help with. The IR remote will turn off my TV but won't turn it on. EDIT: FIXED IT
