I don't read DMs.

  • Someone is "thirsty" for sex. A woman (or a broad approximation there of) exploits that thirst, hence "trap".

The "woman" is the thirst trap. Woman is in quotes, because it's almost always not a woman, but a bot, or one of many accounts run by scammers.

  • Depends on the advice. If they're talking about their mistakes, that can be informative. But, if they discuss their mistakes and then say "... and this is what you should do, instead", that's just unproven speculation on their part.

But, at the end of the day, relationship advice is mostly useless, because only the most general advice works for everyone. The specific issues between two, complex people can't be understood and advised for by listening to one side of the story for a few minutes.

  • I take solace in this is the top comment, at least.

It's frightening that many people are fine with this sort of invasion of privacy as long as the reason is "good enough". This is a knee-jerk, uneducated response that only makes sense to the ignorant. I also expect they're young, and spent more time looking at their phone than paying attention in class.

  • Sort by Controversial.

  • Houston was a good place for that, though.

  • Still too high.

  • Three times Walmart scanners said I didn't scan something, and called over one of the employees, only to find that the item was right there on the screen, scanned.

It's fucking annoying to be accused by a stupid machine of stealing.

  • I'm perusing New, but this belongs in the Hot section.

  • They kiss at the end.

  • We had it when I was a kid. This, and powdered milk that we mixed with real milk. I remember doing the mixing when we got home from grocery shopping.

(I know powdered milk is "real" milk. But... is it?)

  • South Carolina has some nice beaches.

(I'm trying to be a little more positive, and this was the only nice thing I could think of to say about SC.)

  • Oh! Whose a good boy! Yes! Yes! You are! Such a good boy!

  • I believe I was promised a picture of a dog?

  • Because the filthy rich can do literally anything they want, and there's no one waiting to stop them.

If learning that recently surprised you, you're not alone.

The only reason Madoff went to prison is because he stole from rich people.

  • She had to do something, she's been out of the news.

  • Y'all need to go read /r/teachers to learn what a scourge phones in classrooms are. The teachers are begging for an outright ban.

  • 60 here. Can confirm.

While I was still doing well at 50, the ten years since have been a steady decline. But, you can slow the rate by exercising and cleaning up your diet, if you still eat like you're 30.

  • They're the "good guys" until their power is slightly threatened.

I don't regret my donations, because though this was predictable, I suppose, it hadn't happened yet. It's like the people who bought Teslas before the big reveal that Musk is a Nazi. Maybe we all should have seen it coming, but it's hard to blame anyone for missing it.

  • Started as a good idea to regulate industry for the benefit of consumers. Ends up with so many paid-for loopholes it's mostly useless.

The cynic in me thinks the only reason the law was created from the start was to extort money from big companies.
