  • I bought a Prusa and I like it.

I figured I was going to spend a bunch on this hobby anyway, I may as well lay out and cash to start.

If you buy one and it sucks, then have to buy a different one, you may as well just buy I higher entry level to begin with.

  • Check out the M4 Book edit. It reduces the trilogy into one 4 hour film and removes anything that wasn't in the book.

  • Makes me think of clockwork Orange

  • They were both bad dudes, but only one went on a murderous revenge spree and killed children. I'd suggest that one was the real monster.

  • I understand what you're trying to ask, but the "fi" in sci fi doesn't refer to how non science-y it is. It's fiction that is themed by science.

  • Fan of Stargate SG-1?

  • "I love you [Phillip J Fry]"

  • I have to disagree with you on the Cisco stuff. It absolutely teaches you foundation networking.

  • I think you should read your link again. It clearly says 720 is "HD".

"HD Ready" was a marketing term that was sometimes used for things that were both 720 and close to 720.

  • It still is.

    720 = HD 1080 = Full HD

Then I think there's UHD, before they start labelling them as shortened numbers like 8k

  • I think the joke is that alchemists believe they could turn lead into gold and a primary ingredient was urine.

In fact, a lot of Alchemy involved using piss for things.

  • I'll be staying with win10 ltsc on VMs for as long as I can manage, but most are on a flavour of Linux

  • Anyone who yearns for their life as child has developmental issues. I'm not trying to say that as a sick burn, I think it's honestly sad and source of suffering for some people.

  • So, about that asshole thing...

  • To clarify on this, there is no possessive apostrophe with 'it' like their is with nouns. "Its" is a possessive pronoun like "his" or "hers".

  • There are plenty of people who worry about being an asshole and end up never standing up for themselves. I don't think it's as simple as "if you're worried you're the asshole, you probably are".

  • You had to pay to play online on Xbox a decade before that. It was free on PlayStation. When they changed it I just stopped playing online.

  • A private company who's entire use case is facilitating streaming pirated media. The only time Plex blocks or exposes it's customers is the time the company completely implodes
