Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.

  • Doesn't anything with a speaker have an inherent shitty microphone?

  • Pete's drunk off his ass blowing up South American fisherman everyday, why can't the labor secretary have a drink or two.

  • I think part of it is pent up frustration because people realize the manipulating will never get better. We would need to completely ban Fox News and make a bunch of new media laws for that to happen.

  • Yeah, but that's baked into the current price, the information disparity was not.

  • I swear that came out of auto industry lobbying.

  • The only reason they aren't is because we caught some OPEC countries under reporting oil inventories for at least the prior two years.

  • If employees owned the means of production, this would be a moot point... Just pointing that out for people.

  • Sir, this is a Wendy's

  • That's just contract law. Everything is from the stance of what you would assume a reasonable actor or "person" would do in the situation.

Like normally if consideration (the act of pressing the button) was a button that said purchase or buy a reasonable actor would expect ownership.

Their lawyers have to frame everything that way, even if they are obviously wrong.

  • Lol the only "insult" is the word mediocre. The rest are just accurate statements. If you see a black person it's statistically likely they voted for Kamala, if they voted at all. If you see a middle aged white dude, it's likely they voted for Trump if they voted at all.

  • It's annoying that it's not easier. I should be able to go to some European or Canadian competitor and at least know that I am not giving my data directly to US data brokers. Why aren't there more options? You can't tell me the US is the only one who has tech knowledge.

A lot of Americans would instantly jump to a Chinese competitor if they offered English support, fully knowing that all their data is going to the CCP to avoid the US surveillance landscape as it already is.

  • Bubbles need to grow to pop

  • My least favorite part of the game. All my pokemons would be named random strings of text

  • Which is unfortunately about the bar you need for authoritarianism. 1/3 of the people to actively support you and 1/3 of the people to do nothing and you're there.

  • I basically did the same and rode on a permit the entire time I owner a motorcycle. The difference was in my state the only difference between the permit and license (other than the permit times out sooner) is that you can't drive after sundown. Worked fine for me, got a little sketchy in the fall, but I basically had the same plan as you "shucks officer, I lost track of time and am right on my way home to Papa"

  • They didn't though, the legislation never got passed by the Senate.

  • Wait a second... What direction is the camera in relation to you? Is it any bit east of you?

What I am getting at is a concave mirror and the sun might be able to assist greatly with your privacy concerns... At least from the camera angle.

  • Like ridiculously noisy, much more noisy than a circular or reciprocating.

  • Someone on Tiktok is testing this on poles in his yard... Circular saw and reciprocating saw are basically almost exactly the same time due to having to turn the circular saw around. An angle grinder was actually slightly faster than the two, but much more nosier.

These were all tested with cheap blades.
